Knowing that an alpacas average life span is about 15-20 years, it was so nice of y'all to rescue the geriatric female alpacas... I'm sure they will live out their last days in comfort. ❤
For the flies get some Redmond's salt with garlic. It helps with keeping the flies off the cattle. Talk to Kevin and Rachel at Hidden Heights Farm. They use the Redmonds salt with garlic to keep the flies and ticks away from their animals.
I'm so enjoying Fred and his Antics!! You have definitely brought us a lot of thrills & happiness ever since you started having Highlanders! He's so laid back and easy going. Thanks Chad for Fred and his ladies at Adler Farms.
McFred’s speed is set on mosey 😆! I’m glad you got the water figured out for now, for the animals😊. If the wind and rain 🌧 would just quit for a bit and warm up into the 60’s we would be glad 🙏🏻! Thank you for sharing, God Bless🤗💕!
The bird on the limb that flew to the tree is a Green Heron. And you’re right about the other being a Grebe. I believe specifically it is a Pied-billed Grebe. BTW, you have a beautiful new property! That pond with all of its wildlife is awesome!
Welcome to HOWDY!! McFred doesn’t hurry for any reason!! Red tape is a pain! I bet you will be SO glad to get to HOME 1.0! Be safe! Prayers and Blessings always
It's a good thing Freddy is still young and evidently pretty easy going. My Uncle always said every day is a learning experience working a farm, no matter how long you work at it. And he said one thing is universally true. If the humans are not properly educated (trained) and don't have a generous blessing of common sense and patience the animals never stand a chance.
Whether or not Fred can see you he is acting like he understands every word. The Highland on the right is not about to look up. They are so funny. I am still laughing at Freddy just slowly walking toward you. He knows you will save him some snacks.
Or run the chickens in the fields with the cows and let them eat the larvae. Of course, you'll probably need to get a guard goose to chase away aerial predators for the chickens. What do you think about chicken tractors?
Glad Fred was easy to get back in. Hopefully you found the problem and took care of it. Alan looks like he's doing good. Sorry you missed the date to get water out on the property but sounds like your neighbor helped with that problem. Hope you and your family have a BLESSED and HAPPY EASTER. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
In the pond, you can put a platform on the poles sticking out, slap a good chunk of sod on top and possibly the geese will nest there. Fred must be a fighter, because he is definitely too slow to run away from anything.
Fred is to funny, just takes his time to get to you. Loved when you speaking to the highlands. They just stood there as if they understood what you were saying. Bless you and all your family.1😍
Metal is getting very expensive, so are those bolts & nuts. Rust remover would be great too! It would be a great bartering supplement in the future. Get a welding machine now.
You’ve got a great set of neighbors there that are letting you get water! And the ones at the current property with the cows. The essence of life there!!
As always I loved your video! I love seeing the animals and you talking to me about what you're doing planning on doing! I love you all so much from Paris Tennessee
From Ontario Canada, I googled if you can kill the Grebe and no you can't it is federally protected, so you have to contact fish and game and talk to them about your stocked pond.
You scored in finding those barrels! Congrats on that. Glad Fred wasn't too far away from where he should have been. Could the metal on the bleachers be possibly welded into a shoot for the animals or brackets in the barn for feeders, ect.
I checked for Oklahoma… you cannot shoot herons unless you get a permit, and permits are only issued to commercial fisheries, as a rule. To deter herons, you can put an owl decoy in a tree, and/or get a floating alligator decoy for the pond. I had good luck with a couple of horned owl decoys, but my koi pond was only 24,000 gallons.
My good old fred just wanted to get great eats for his lovely dolls. Your new farm is looking pretty nice, great to see the animals looking great 👍, can't wait to see you and your family out their.
Idea for a mailbox post ... my husband welded a heavy chain one link on top the other to make a unique mailbox post ... very sturdy and it was anchored down with cement, that thing wasn't going anywhere ...links were about 1 and a half to 2 inches around ...
I have an idea for y'all. If you think the fence wouldnt hold another dog, maybe run another fence and leave about 2 feet between them. Just a thought that would keep both side animals in their place.
Thanks for sharing Chad, I have been watching your Dad's channel the last few days trying to watch them from the beginning, I love seeing all of your animals and your adventures you and Rae and the kids have with them. Heartwarming to hear how proud your father is of his kids, and how much he wants to help you and the love him and your mom have for you guys. God Bless Hope you all have a wonderful Easter.
Your one Blessed Man Chad, your boys are amazing. Alder is such a adorable lil Man. Not to mention Carter. Then you have Rae! What a Beautiful young Lady she is. Then you have your property to build your dream place. God Bless you all. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Chad if you see this talk to Kevin over at hidden heights farm, he feeds Redmond salt with garlic in it and it works great for fly, flea, tick, mites, and lice control. He put a video out sat on his channel talking about it.
That one that was standing on the branch at first might be an egret. Oh I guess it's a heron. 😁😁 It's great Fred stayed home. ❤️❤️ Are you going to get the alpaca trimmed? Lots of people do that once a year. I hope those dogs are behaving. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍🙏☝️❤️
Hey Chad, pretty new here but I love Cog hill farm! Any way ask Jason about the fly medicine he bought for Moody, also he bought some wasp larvae that that will eat the fly eggs once they hatch but they don't bother humans.
Knowing that an alpacas average life span is about 15-20 years, it was so nice of y'all to rescue the geriatric female alpacas... I'm sure they will live out their last days in comfort. ❤
You got it wrong Chad, Fred saw that fence down and was on his way to tell Grandpa about it!
I agree Peggy.
Little Adler is just too precious. I love this age. Love your video. Glad the big fellow got back inside the fence for you.
You are highly favored and greatly blessed.
He has Risen.
God bless you and your family.
I love how Fred just saunters down the road like he don’t care 🤣
For the flies get some Redmond's salt with garlic. It helps with keeping the flies off the cattle. Talk to Kevin and Rachel at Hidden Heights Farm. They use the Redmonds salt with garlic to keep the flies and ticks away from their animals.
Chad, you know that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. Lol. McFred just had to remind you.
That was awesome when you were discussing plans with the Highlands. They really looked like they were listening.
Laughed so hard when you said, Can Fred see me? He is adorable, as well as his ladies!
Everyone have a blessed Easter. Things are looking up at the new property, I know it’s gonna be awesome. 🙏😊❤️
Chad, you crack me up with some of the things you say to us. HUGS!!!
Glad to see Alan getting better!🌻👍🌻
Fred is so laidback. He doesn’t know the word hurry up. Love his hair. I think Tina is cute.
Fred and the girls are so gorgeous! Our family always raised Hereford beef cattle. Your breed is very beautiful.
Grass is greener on the other side until the cubes shake comes! 😆 🤣 😂

check out what Jason at Cog Hill has done to control Moody's flies, very effective

🤣 Grandpa calls Fred right.. "Slow Ride" 😂
Could you put a gutter on the roof of the building and set up a rain catchment system?
That bird looked like a blue heron. Cool video. Glad you got your bull back in and found that short in the fence. 👍👍👍❤️
Welcome to HOWDY!! McFred doesn’t hurry for any reason!! Red tape is a pain! I bet you will be SO glad to get to HOME 1.0! Be safe! Prayers and Blessings always

You might want to try the wasps that eat fly larva that Jason uses on the Cog Hill farm.
Or run the chickens in the fields with the cows and let them eat the larvae. Of course, you'll probably need to get a guard goose to chase away aerial predators for the chickens. What do you think about chicken tractors?

That brown alpaca reminds me of Mater from cars. God's creatures big or small are beautiful in their own ways

I tell ya...Fred just not in a hurry for nothing. Loved you having a conversation with the Hylands. So cute.
Get the stuff that Jason from Cog Hill used on Moody, that stuff worked quick!
Did you find an Alpac&play yet?
I love spending time with all of you!
Happy Easter and God Bless!
You cracked me up! I about lost it when you called the alpacas velcro giraffes. You are too funny! 🤣😂
Suggestion, Don't be hasty getting rid of the metal in bleachers. It or parts might come in handy for others projects. Blessings to you all.
TRUE ! A neighbor used one like it to make a covered and enclosed mobile shelter for their chickens.
Metal is getting very expensive, so are those bolts & nuts. Rust remover would be great too! It would be a great bartering supplement in the future. Get a welding machine now.
Can't wait to see the land come together and you guys get out there full time
Check out what Jason is using for flies on Moody.
Love your plans for the animals at the new place ! I love the way Fred just hopped over that wire ! Happy Easter to you and your whole family ! :)
It will all happen, you will get it done you are all such hard workers and it will come together like it should, love all your videos, grandma in Ohio
Love the jacket Chad. Fred takes his time, he’s a sweetheart.
Gotta consult with Marycarl !! If she doesn’t know the answer, she can figure it out for you !!
They absolutely love you talkin to them! Lol
You're sooo much happier. Enjoy life. It's good. Life is good.
You’ve got a great set of neighbors there that are letting you get water! And the ones at the current property with the cows. The essence of life there!!
As always I loved your video! I love seeing the animals and you talking to me about what you're doing planning on doing! I love you all so much from Paris Tennessee
Check with Cog Hill - he has a great way of keeping flies off Moody.
Happy Easter to your, Rae and the boys. Love Fred! How can anyone resist him😍☺️
From Ontario Canada, I googled if you can kill the Grebe and no you can't it is federally protected, so you have to contact fish and game and talk to them about your stocked pond.

Fred what are you doing so laid back in his own world 🤠 the girls are so pretty 🌺
You scored in finding those barrels! Congrats on that.

A early Happy Easter everyone from Syracuse NY thank you for sharing your adventures and your farm
Hey Earl; I am from Baldwinsville New York . you know where that is
Hey earl
Hi my friend how are you doing tonight?
Idea for a mailbox post ... my husband welded a heavy chain one link on top the other to make a unique mailbox post ... very sturdy and it was anchored down with cement, that thing wasn't going anywhere ...links were about 1 and a half to 2 inches around ...
Happy Easter to all God bless ❤🙏
I just have to laugh at Fred! He just doesn't get in a hurry about anything! I'm glad he was close by & came for the cake.
I have an idea for y'all. If you think the fence wouldnt hold another dog, maybe run another fence and leave about 2 feet between them. Just a thought that would keep both side animals in their place.

Tina !!! 🤣 a face only a mother could love. Hehe
Happy Easter to you and your family.
If you want the geese maybe make a raft for them to help avoid some of the predators?
Your one Blessed Man Chad, your boys are amazing. Alder is such a adorable lil Man. Not to mention Carter. Then you have Rae! What a Beautiful young Lady she is. Then you have your property to build your dream place. God Bless you all. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
Talk to Hidden Heights farm. They use REDMOND SALT WITH GARLIC FOR THE FLIES AND TICKS AND FLEAS
My husband has an e-bike and he loves it.
My grandfather maintained that dogs, whose fur grew over their eyes needed it to shade their eyes. Maybe true for cattle too?
I believe the one in the tree is a green heron. The other is a Grebes.
Donkeys are good guard "dogs"!
Have a wonderful Easter. God bless.
Maybe the snakes senses 🤔 is to take the gosling as it's pecking out of the egg shell. Makes sense, but I know nothing about 🐍 snakes!
Thankfully Fred isn’t running away. He’s sticking close by when he ducks out for a bite to eat. ❤
Chad if you see this talk to Kevin over at hidden heights farm, he feeds Redmond salt with garlic in it and it works great for fly, flea, tick, mites, and lice control. He put a video out sat on his channel talking about it.
Pretty awesome place you got there.!
A Blessed Easter Sunday To You All. 🙏

It's great Fred stayed home. ❤️❤️
Are you going to get the alpaca trimmed? Lots of people do that once a year. I hope those dogs are behaving. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍🙏☝️❤️
Fred is one good looking chewbacca on 4 legs!!

Happy Easter to all of you
I saw a picture of a grebe it is beautiful. Orange plumage on the head and RED eyes.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter!
Fred is a real cool Hyland!
It's a heron. Looked like a green heron.
Theres my Adler. Hi baby. Cant wait to see what you get next.
Alpaca fleece is wonderful to spin and weave or knit with.
God bless
Fred just had no worries. ❤️❤️❤️
Hey Chad, pretty new here but I love Cog hill farm! Any way ask Jason about the fly medicine he bought for Moody, also he bought some wasp larvae that that will eat the fly eggs once they hatch but they don't bother humans.
Build it, and they will come!!!
Fred was in no rush ha ha. Great job as always thanks. Chris from England.
Mr. Feed Bucket is the best helper on a farm. Low pay high praise is all he needs.
