I'm glad it worked out for you and your Brit. We tried the rescue thing and had to re-home him again. He didn't get along with our existing Brit. broke my heart, but he's in a much better situation now.

I’m new to upland hunting in Oregon. What shot size do you guys use for grouse, quail, chukar? Lead or steel?

We self shuttled. There are good public ramps at both ends.

Not too familiar with the area but I'm going to make a stab at it....I say that's the Grand Ronde river....any one else care to make a guess?
