Love your vernacular! Punching holes in the sky, Pillowing birds, cracked out monkey with a switchblade. Just letting you know I'm gonna have to borrow some of those! Thanks!
10/10 video. Second year of hunting and theres nothing like the culture many of these hunters believe in. Had a group just take me in for no reson at all other than to have fun and meet new people!
great video. Ive hunted for many years, this year is different. I now have a lab ready to go (well almost, but we will "wing it") its almost time for the dove season opener. Last year I hunted quail and lost a few birds in the thick brush here in West texas and couldnt recover them. Well hopefully this year will be different with my Lab at my side. Hopefully he matures into a great hunting dog and companion for the next 10 to 15 years as I go thru my 50's.
I too hunt AZ and have been blessed to collect Mearns, Gambels and scaled quail. I'm an SAQF member. I think AZ's habitat is incredibly beautiful BUT you must show respect and there seems to be less and less of that these days. We don't kill many birds because we choose not to. We enjoy some for the table and working the dogs is paramount. I use a 28 gauge SxS and it is DEADLY. There's no doubt that you love your dogs but...they need work. 😉 Thanks for sharing.
Yes Rob Well done! Love the music and the dogs. Love the dog description “Coked out monkey w a switch blade. Lmao. I had one of those. Any how love to meet you down there next year.
I used to love hunting that area. Shooting Gambel's, Mearn's and Scaled quail all in the same day is a huge accomplishment. I was pleasantly surprised to hear him say that Cowboys from Hell was on his playlist. You can't judge a book by its cover.
Well I am taking a friend today to chase him grouse up here in southwest, Washington. He has never been bird hunting be for and he wants to see the dog work and how it’s done ! Good on you devils claw!
@@jacobzirkle9153 I love it. For what I do it works well. Quail, lots of walking, some shooting. If I’m going to miss it might as well be with a light, decent tool🤣
What a gem! Upland hunting is a gift from God to the few that find it.
Rob is a national treasure! This is an incredible story and message. Well done.
Too kind.
Another great story! Well done to everyone involved. Rob is a great dude with a strong passion for his dogs.
Thank you bud.
I need to figure out this I’m working but not working thing! Great video, awesome dogs!

The production value of these videos is fantastic. Great work.
Came for the dogs, stayed for the story. Excellent content Mr. Poore and F.A.
I see that FAIR didn't make the collection cut... I absolutely adore my FAIR Iside in 28! Nice spotlight.
Good on ya, Robert!
It’s a rock-simple ethic, but it’s quickly becoming the only one that counts for much.
Best from me an’ Jake (my EC).
Awesome cinematography! I'm excited to start the season up north here in Idaho
"It's the funnest thing you can do with pants on" hahaha😂😂😂...what a beauty!
So good!
Excellent story and video! Thank you!

Loved the video. Very well done with an intelligent narration.
Great story!! Giving back to others through dogs and bird hunting…..amazing!! What sing/artist is playing at the end?
Loved it!!!!!
I mean, what is there not to love. Shotguns. Birddogs. Arizona Mearns quail. 👊🏼
That Opal dog looks special.
I’m partial to her.
I hunt that area you parked in every year, will be there for New Years. Maybe I'll see you out there Rob
Used to follow this dude when i was on Instagram. Glad to see he's still doin well!

Im disapointed your benelli didn't make the scattergun show and tell. Maybe next time.
What chair is that in the old school camo. Also he needs to add a 28 gauge to his collection.
The iron I’m carrying in the video is a FAIR Iside 28 ga.
The chair is from Academy sporting goods called the “Game Winner Ultimate Hunting Chair”.
@@borderland_upland how do you like the Fair? Thanks
