I think what makes Stitch awesome he sorta like a Anti-Mickey. He's weird, he can be gross at times but still funny and adorable and has really cool powers and that's what makes him special.
Modern Mickey. Stitch is basically early Mickey, and there's a reason Mickey was the most popular character to begin with. And it's why Donald became so popular, cuz Mickey got more tame, and Donald came along and filled that slot (flawed and loveable as he is too). People just like scrappy characters, especially if they're also cute.
He really is the anti-Mickey isn’t he and that’s why I love him because you know what main character favoritism is bullshit and I will take that to my grave

@@nisarojas2869 exactly to me Mickey does not have any defining characteristics that click with me he never did which is why I gravitate more towards stitch than any of the other characters he’s genuinely a kind character that has a mischievous streak and is known for being destructive and I feel that’s a little bit of my personality as well I can be a bit destructive when I’m angryBut I genuinely love and care for the people around me and try to be as kind as possible like stitch :3

Back in the 2000s, Lilo and Stitch had a TV Series similar to other movies like Hercules, Aladdin, and Emperor's New Groove
These guys are fellow experiments made by Jamba!
Like Sticth, all of them have special abilities
Like the yellow one at 9:55 controls electricity or how the orange one can create supersonic waves
Yellow one: Sparky - electricity, orange one: Sample - copies sounds it hears and plays them back in a funky beat, green one: Felix - like a vacuum, red one: 627 (he was never given a name) - very evil and can never be turned to good like the other experiments, and Angel - sings a special song that can turn the experiments from good to bad, but if she sings the song backwards, it turns them back to good.
This is my show. I followed this instead of Pokémon
Not to mention, those characters are also in the sequel movies as well as the other Stitch animated series (there's a lot). There's literally a Stitch franchise/universe

Lilo and Stitch is about the beauty of found family and Stitch/Lilo both represent the outcasted kid, the one "who can never belong" as Jumba puts and its wonderful to see them find each other and build a small family, its little but still good. It gives hope to people in those same situations from broken families or those without them and shows validation that found families are real families and is one of the first children media to do so. These along with many other reasons are why people love Stitch/this movie. Also hes cute and fluffy lol.

This is also the reason that a lot of children on the Autism Spectrum identify with Stitch, because he basically is us. He's the "one that doesn't belong, but finds his family anyways"

I'm always amazed at seeing how loved Stitch is over in Asia. He has a really cute segment in the Tokyo DisneySea version of Fantasmic where he just kind of hijacks the show for a couple of minutes.

I love Stitch because he represents how a creature that was made just for destruction can have good inside when given the chance to experience family. Lilo changed him for the better and even he tried to doubt himself sometimes which can be relatable to anybody who feels that they can’t be good even if they tried. Also, he’s CUTE AND FLUFFY!💙💙💙
Dan understood the greatness of Stitch by the end! Stitch represents those of us who do not automatically have a place where we belong in society. But it just takes one person to notice we're there and to love us and then we can feel like we belong. Love him. When I would go to Disney World he would usually be at the entrance to Epcot where the old millennium photo memorials would be, happy to start my day by seeing him.
I love Stitch for many reasons, the movie came out during a time when I was starting to be bullied and, looking back now, I really related to Lilo and Stitch as being outsiders but finding their place together (And the subsequent theme of the TV show is "finding stitch's cousins one true place") Stitch is also blue (my favorite color) and he's so cute and fluffy and fun! I love seeing him in the parks because he's so energetic and fun and unpredictable! I can't wait until we can see him in the parks again!
The Elvis Stitch has to be my favorite version of stitches costume.

Stitch is the best!!! He's my favorite character cuz he's funny, loves his ohana and he's cute and fluffy :D I met him at Disneyland at the PCH Grill in 2019, best day of my life!!! He walked me to the table, came over 3 times, gave lots of hugs and danced with me. I was in Heaven :D my room is dedicated to him, my closet is full of Stitch shirts, I have multiple Stitch pins and plushies. I may love him a little too much but that's ok ^-^

I'm not fully sure of WHY I love him, but when I started getting sick (kidney stones, then fibro) he became my literal comfort character. I'd bring plushies of him when I went places because squeezing them made me feel a bit better. and he's the perfect shape for cuddles and snuggles. I have like an ARMY of Stitch plushies, most of them in storage. I was (and still am) super attached to the movie. I was a weird kid who had a hard time making friends, so I related to Lilo a lot. it ticks me off that Angel (the pink one) gets more merch than Lilo. IT'S LILO AND STITCH, NOT ANGEL AND STITCH.

The reason I love Stitch (and Lilo) so much is because when the movie first came out I was Lilo's age and identified with her SO MUCH. I was the weird, nerdy girl in school that no one liked and had a hard time making friends. I saw so much of my frustration and loneliness in Lilo even at that age. I love Stitch so much because he represented what I wanted too: a friend and someone who would accept me, just like Lilo. As I grew up I gained friends that have become closer than family, and to me now the movie mostly speaks to the love of found family.

Back when Stitch's Great Escape was still open, my cousin and I went on it. After we sat down he got a head lamb and book out of his bag. I asked him why and he said he'd seen the show tons of times as a cast member. So he read through the whole show, which had the chairs move, water and air effects and parts when the whole room went dark!

Ever since I was younger I just loved Stitch, he is one of my fav characters. I will never forget all the time my twin sister and I put in working on his voice. And many many many years after the first time we went to Disney we went to meet him and spoke to him speaking like him and I still remember that experience when he freaked out and grabbed his cast member and pointed to my sister and me. That is one of the best memories I will never forget. Stitch is just funny and I just love him.
I went to Disney World as a kid in 2005 during the Stitch takeover. I fell in love with the character and it was one of the best vacations I ever had. I love his cuteness and the troublemaking personality!

I remember meeting Stitch in TomorrowLand while waiting for my dad and sister to get off space mountain.
I think it’s because or I like him so much Because for how Adorable and Adorably chaotic and funny he is. But also how he’s ALMOST perfect and yet still imperfect, he’s meant to be Indestructible and all but yet he’s still Flawed and underneath all the chaos there’s some good , some humble ness and Some Innocence to him
Why do I love stitch? He’s funny, expressive, and come on, it’s Chris Sanders. His designs and art style are among my favorites. He also voices stitch and gives a very unique and funny voice for the character. The guy’s talented.

I remember the first time I saw the trailer for "Lilo and Stitch," which was at the Drawn to Animation show in California Adventure. (In the space that is now used by Animation Academy.) At the time I thought, "Oh no! What the heck is this?! I can't believe how far Disney has fallen!" Today, Stitch is one of my favorite Disney characters. He's really grown on me over the years.
I love stitch so much! the movie is so amazing & Stitch is so cute! I also loved getting hugged in the park by the classic stitch, he's just a giant teddy bear.

When I went to Disney World, it was around the time Lilo & Stitch came out & it had already become my obsession. I got a Stitch hat & everything. I spent most of the time in the park looking for the character. And I even dragged my family to Stich’s Great Escape. And I loved it so much that I was honored to have his spit on my shirt that day lol. So when I found out it wasn’t everyone’s favorite, it was definitely a surprise to me. 😂

Early 2000's baby here. My love for Stitch began when I saw the movie (and their sequels) and the corresponding TV show which aired on Disney Channel. I own at least 3 different Stitch clothing items lol
I think the first time I saw Stitch was when he started showing up in other Disney movie. As a kid, it was super funny. Then watched Lilo and Stitch, loved that it was more a family film than romance. Got a bit bored by then of romances.
Then grew up and understood more what Nani was going through and I just really appreciated seeing that side of people.

I love the movie Lilo and Sitich, it's my favorite Disney movie and I thought the animation was amazing, the story kept me hooked and it was interesting, the music was catchy, especially Burning Love. One of my favorite like coincidence about Stitch just really somehow is so fitting for him. Is that his experiment number is 626, and on June(6) 26 2015 Gay Marriage was legalized in the United States and it truly is fitting that the little alien who represents and shares the message of everyone belonging happens to share this event.
I always liked Lilo and Stitch growing up. The obsession began when I went to Disney World after adopting my first dog. I had to leave him with friends but I couldn’t stop thinking about him. I like to say my dog is like Stitch cuz he’s sassy and doesn’t always fit in with the other dogs. He’s my little angel! I think it’s cute and that’s personally why I’m obsessed with Stitch!
pretty much the main reason i love stitch is because my mom gave me a plush that my uncle had, which was a vintage stitch plush from the disney parks. this was after we lost him in 2017, so stitch heavily reminds me of my uncle whom i was very close to, he's also the reason i got interested in disneyland & haunted mansion in the first place, as he worked there in 1997

For the record, we love him because his arc in the first movie was really good, he's way more adorable (and tolerable) than a minion, not to mention he's a super-strong little weirdo. The “Stitch Variants” are Stitch’s cousins from the lilo & stitch tv show. Its on Disney+ each episode focuses on a different experiment made by Jumba AKA Stich’s cousins

I don’t remember when I first saw lilo and stitch. I was a little kid. But like, he instantly became a character that’s important to me. Like a friend.
I’ve been depressed since second grade due to a medical condition and moving away. I don’t get happy a lot. I’m mostly just numb or just panicked. But like, Whenever I see stitch I get excited and happy. He reminds me of just happier times, and a childhood innocence I just let go of. He makes me happy.
He makes me feel like a friend that I would cuddle with, and I don’t even like hugs. He’s comforting.
For me Stitch brings back my love for the Lilo and Stitch movie. So, when I see him in the park I just think of my childhood and smile.
I used to have a stitch tower of terror bellhop plush that i loved so much. It was my favroute piece of Disney merchandise. Its also surpsing to see how popular stitch is in the asian Disney parks and asia in general since there is a stitch anime series and a stitch chinease animated series. You also forgot to mention Stitch live at Disneyland paris. I was lucky enough to get chosen to talk to stitch when i was a kid.

About the Stitch "eating the concept of music" parade float... If you look, he's got one of his claws on the record player in front of him. There's a scene in the movie where he does this and Lilo opens Stitch's mouth and the music comes out. Pretty sure that's what the parade float is meant to represent!
Stitch is just the best because he’s got the most important factors. He’s got the cuteness factor (I mean just look at him he’s cute and fluffy), he’s got the heart factor (the whole movie is about family and loving those around you as family), and in the parks he’s got the can kinda do anything and get away with it factor that we all love (like what other character would people actively let burb in their face lol). He’s just a fun character that can give you a wet whilly and you go “oh stitch you’re so funny” and that’s why we love him so. 😂

I love Stitch for a lot of reasons, but mostly because Lilo and Stitch was the first movie I ever saw in theatres! It sparked a lifelong love for movies, especially animation. I also found a lot of confidence in his ability to be weird and still be loved by his family and friends. Also, he's cute and fluffy!

Many people know of stitch and his 627 cousins and for those that stuck around until the end, they also know his oldest brother experiment 628 also known as Leroy.
But did you know about Experiment 621?
He first appeared in the ps2 game "experiment 626" where you play stitch escaping from prison and travelling between planets to collect data for Jumba, before leaving with him in a ship; which leads into the movie where they are both captured by Gantu.
In the game you are stopped constantly by Experiment 621 who has all the powers of stitch, but is less capable at using them but can also absorb Dna to improve himself. He was released among the other experiements in the tv series and was named "Chopsuey". He was also credited in "Leroy and Stitch", meaning unseen; he was there from the start.
Stitch was never given a chance at happiness. Until he went to Hawaii and he learned about love and family and acceptance. Made my cold heart grow three times larger. I was born in 96 so I think I was the perfect age when it came out. Still love to watch Lilo and Stitch on Christmas to laugh and cry a little and feel warm.
To me, stitch represents everything that is weird and different. The ugly duckling scene from the movie is so relatable makes me tear up every time. Stitch will always be special to me.

I'm just gonna say, it's about time this came out! Stitch is my favorite character and what you said at the end is EXACTLY WHY he's my favorite! I also actually loved Stitch's Great Escape (yes I'm nostalgically biased) and miss it terribly! I hope someday Stitch gets a permanent prescence in the parks in the US and I don't care what it is but he needs something given the fact that although not loved by everyone, he's popular in EVERYTHING!!! Great job on the video, man! Also, did you know that for a brief period of time they had Hamsterviel and Gantu mascots too? I would die if I met them all at once!

Stitch is a little chaos demon and that's why I relate to him. He is chaos and difficult but also kind and loving and people love him anyways.

I'm a sucker for characters who start out with an evil streak and slowly learn to love through their experiences. (Love the Grinch for the same reason) Stitch hits home the most since I have an older sister like Lilo, and it's something we bond over.
Those are Stitch's cousins! In the Stitch cartoon he finds a bunch of other experiments who basically join his Ohana. Theres a LOT of them!

I had recently in 2019 met Stiitch finally, like I was never aloud to meet him when I was young. My grandpa never wanted me to for a while only til I was older that i had finally met him.
Honestly I started crying seeing him. Lilo and Stitch was my favorite movie when I was a kid, it made me get more into animation and other things. I’m happy to see a cover of the costume evolution by you Dan! Keep doing what your doing! *Aloha!*

Stitch and other Disney characters had developed a friendship with me over time. However, he holds a very special place in my heart. I suffer from severe depression, which was caused by a nervous breakdown in 2010. I still suffer from it and it still troubles me to this day, but Stitch and others characters' love for me literally saved my life. Now whenever I meet him and other characters, they all open up their arms to me. I know it's weird, especially for a 35 year old guy with autism.
