  • Apologies for the issues from natural lighting, I've edited as much as possible and the video quality improves during the course of the video.
Fortunately all art each piece is unique and I didn't want to loose the footage I captured entirely as I personally think it is still very watchable.
    Thank you for your understanding

Ceri, Excited to see your finished project with you crafting partner. Now as I have told you on many comments, Please, Please stop worrying about your videos going over one hour. If you made 2 hour videos I believe no one would leave the room. O love all the time you give us with teaching and sharing all these wonderful ideas and tips on how to doing something different. Ceri I have learned so so much from you and I love the time we spend with you talking, and hearing all your wonderful stories. Love the stories, so do not ever stop sharing, I enjoy it so much. You are so honest, kind, polite and caring about us and how you talk to us. You are so special, love you as a person and creative maker. You are so amazing. Thanks so much Ceri for you videos, wish you did one every day, I know your life dose not permit this to happen, just wishing, lol 💌

I really like these. Even though you say you can't teach us collage, this is a form of collage and you've just shown us your formula. Start with bookpage add several pieces of pattern paper finish with a focal point and a couple of labels. It's easy and perfect for the beginner. Although I'm not a beginner I do struggle with collage. Thank you.

Ceri, about the long video… some of us use these wonderful videos like we do a trip to the Lou. We are escaping something, the kids, putting off doing dishes, chores, a visit from or to the neighbor, time while hubby is screaming at the TV during a ball game he wants you to watch with him. Therefore, we love the longer videos. The longer you go, the more of a break we get. It’s the best escape known to crafters. We don’t mind at all if you give us more time to rest or put something off. Besides that we enjoy you talking to us and teaching us some neat ideas and giving us inspiration. Thankyou very much, all the way from Texas, USA. Your long videos are welcome here!

Thank you the comment on noticing what your page has printed on them. My sister picks books and magazines up for me at her thrift store and I tell sure that it is items that are not full of vulgar words and embarrassing lines. Many people forget about this when putting journals together. This the main reason I don’t use romance novels.

You make it look so easy! I've quickly learned 2 things: It isn't as easy as you make it look and it takes a lot longer than you think! I'm sure you are "quick" from practice but I really appreciate you not doing "voice-overs". It will take me a while to get anywhere close to your skill level but by seeing you create in "real-time" and talking through your thoughts and considerations, I'm learning a lot and feeling more confident. Being an RN, you don't always have "do-overs" so it's taking a while for me to get out of the "once and done and it must be right" mindset that's acceptable for crafting. It's rather an appreciated relief to not have to be "perfect". Thanks for sharing your skills and your encouragement. I'm finally learning to enjoy retirement. 💝

I am so very happy to hear your plans for the prompts. I am not at all keen on anything with expectations. I craft every day, but that doesn’t mean I want to do what the challenge requires. The pressure to complete something on a schedule is just too much for me. As for the length of your videos…we really do not mind how long you make them. We can always pause and come back if needs be.
PS: your washi stash sounds like mine. I have absolutely no idea where they came from or how old they are. The adhesive may be too old to stick anymore so a bit of extra glue is never a bad idea.

Thank you Ceri. I must admit that I have made clusters like these before, but it's lovely to have your company whilst I make some more! And, would you believe it - one of the music scraps that I pulled today was a 'Welsh Air'. 😊 P.S. the 100 prompts sounds like a super idea!! 🧡💚🤎

Ceri, loved the mass making of your toppers. I know you said you were busy, 😊 but wanting to know if you can demonstrate steampunk? Either doing some pages, or a journal? We see vintage, botanical, shabby chic, but not much steampunk. 💜💜💜

Great video Ceri. I think it can be helpful for people just starting out and overwhelmed by colour choice to learn very basic colour theory - a cheap colour wheel from an art shop and 10-15 minutes playing with it will give a reasonable understanding of primary, complementary and tertiary colours. A fundamental understanding like this can take a lot of stress/confusion out of the process for newbies. Thanks for your wonderful videos, I learn a lot from them.

I totally agree, colour theory at any level helps.
