To be treated like a human! The US is so dehumanizing for Black women. That’s why I am moving to another country ASAP.

Love this! My brother has CP (he's 33) and this gives me so much hope that I'll be able to snatch him up to go abroad when I start traveling. I already steal him from my Mom to do things no one seems to think he can...but HE CAN and HE LOVES IT! His condition is more advanced than Aisha's, but he's still very capable! And Stephanie, I'll help with the kids! Lol! I homeschool my 2 boys (10 & 11), I've taught ESL online, and substituted in public school systems. I love kids; they fascinate me. Both of my brothers are also adopted. I've been around and volunteered with adoptive/foster kids most of my life. Viva Panamá!

Yessss! I love this. I am a first-generation Panamanian-American woman. The last time I visited the country of my parents was in August of 2017. I am hoping to go back this year to celebrate my mother's 82nd birthday and to stay on the island of Portobelo. In August 2020, I closed my father's eyes after 7 years of being his conservator/power of attorney. Since then, I have had more losses within a short period. A younger female cousin in June of 2021, an aunt in February 2022, an uncle in Sept. 2023, and a close family friend in November 2023. It's all been a lot and the only two medicines that have sustained me are salsa dancing and traveling. During all these changes, I was laid off from work in Sept. 2021, worked part-time in 2022, and got a new full-time job in March of 2023, but then was wrongfully terminated for setting healthy professional boundaries. As it turns out, the same company was stealing employee wages. I am ready for a change. Los Angeles has a stale familiarity for me. Yet, I want to make a sound decision that is not based on running away.

I’m not sure if this was covered, however, how is Wi-Fi provided and can speak to Wi-Fi quality in, Costa Rica, and other countries, compared to what’s commonly found in the US? Is there a recommendation for hotspots, or apps that are especially reliable for international Wi-Fi? :)
Also, or at our ex-pat communities ever vulnerable to targeted, attention because of perceived, wealth, or ability able to live in better neighborhoods, better dwellings, and communities? Thanks! Long time follower, first time poster. :) ❤

Roshida I live in California and I have permanent guardianship over my grandson. He's 5 years old with a disability. How can I get a passport for him so that I can travel or choose a place to relocate. I've always been leaning towards Panama. I'm 53 years old and I have a 12 year old daughter also. I would love to be around like minded people. If anyone else have an opinion on what I can do, Please let me know.

Rashida is speaking real talk. You cannot expect your new husbands adult children to take care of you. The stepmom needs to have her options in place.
