They're a family and betraying each other is not at all what they would do. Also just ditching them without a plan to use them wouldn't really be good since he needs to either find a way to cripple them or take over legitimately to gain his opportunity at being a Yonko. So he would most likely just continue becoming a Warlord so he could get his crew from Level 6 and then the coincidence that Luffy is Ace's brother would give him the best chance to get all his ambitions done however that goes.

Sure the Whitebeard Crew is a family and a mutiny might not work well, but he could become a Commander and recruit new members for his division and pick members from the Crew that might be open to betraying pops because as we saw with Ace, not everyone is immediately loyal to pops. Blackbeard if he was a Commander could pick members for his division from the new recruits and/or older members like Squall that are more easily swayable.

Ace took up 2nd Division and with him being apart of it unless you can just challenge your Commander for the position which we don't see at all then he can't.

My biggest thing was the “why he didn’t become king of the pirates”. I know the general answer is “because other Yonkos” but honestly Luffy and co are doing well for themselves after only a few months in the New World. Whitebeard has been around for years yet he hasn’t. It makes me think he didn’t want to become king for some reason. He said before with Roger he didn’t care for it, but It’s weird cause his crew said tons of times “pops will be king”. It’s weird cause why would the crew want that if he clearly didn’t want to.
Perhaps because his crew knew that Whitebeard was more than capable of doing so, they just hoped he’ll change his mind, or maybe he never told anyone that to have a family is all he desired.
Katakuri 🍩🔱 vs Marco 🦚🔥 My thoughts are that Katakuri 🍩 takes it. Superior Observations haki , Mastered Armament and has a Devil fruit awakening. Maroc's only advantage is his regeneration/stamina.
If Whitebeard is convinced by his crew to make him King, I think the first thing he would do is go to Shanks who was part of Roger's crew and might know a thing or two about it and get what info he can. He has to address with Shanks that Ace is Roger's son, and they have to talk about how even if Whitebeard succeeds somehow, he still isn't particularly long for the world. So it is entirely within possibility that Shanks would work WITH Whitebeard to make it happen under certain conditions depending how much Shanks actually knows about Laugh Tale and the One Piece. This way Whitebeard has enough help to deal with the fact that he is kind of barely hanging on and definitely could not fight either Big Mom or Kaido on his own and live. He probably would track down Neko and Inu in preparation for Wano, and coincidentally stumble upon that road poneglyph when he and his crew explain their plan. But since no one thus far has shown to know the location of the 4th poneglyph we start to run into 1 last problem- No one other than Robin knows how to read them. And I have a suspicion that Laugh Tale isn't 1 permanent accessible island, so even if Shanks did get there before he may not be of any help leading them back. And what then happens when they get there and see what the One Piece is. There has to be a reason that none of Roger's crew used their knowledge of the One Piece or Laugh Tale to take up the crown or use it against the World Government, and Whitebeard, Shanks, and their crews would have to decide what to do with whatever knowledge they get about it.
dun think so. His Bones are still part of his original body which can house only one devil. If anything, Brook being nothing but bones gives him less body to store devils in ;D But ye Brook is not his Bone body, he is his soul controlling his bones..... so is the Devil in his soul? What does that say about all other devilfruit users? Does this mean to have 2 powers you need 2 souls? Does Whitebeard have Xebec's soul to keep the Guragura power in? Toooooo many questions. I am not counting on this ever being explained in complete detail. But I'm pretty sure Brook can only keep one power.

@@Broockle Nah, Ace would still have been in all of the newspapers as he was miraculously saved from the jaws of the World Government, plus he is Gol D. Roger's son, also the adopted Brother of Straw Hat Luffy and adopted Grandson of Garp the Fist! I am pretty sure Sabo would have at least gone through a similar scenario that happened, but just far less tragic and regret filled and far more wholesomely tear jerking and relieved.

Also, it wasn't the fact Ace was dead that helped his memories return, it was the fact that Ace was the big topic of discussion, his name and face being thrown around all over that did it for Sabo judging from the flashback, but for the sake of a more interesting plot, Sabo's memories don't return all at once, but Ace is definitely there and so he feels drawn to him and that is first contact the Revolutionaries and Whitebeard Pirates have over the time skip. Things with Robin could potentially arise from that, but that is all depends on the stances Robin and the Revolutionaries have over the prospect of White Beard becoming King and picking sides between WB and Ace or Luffy with the Strawhats. White Beard might have to have a heart to heart with Robin over what this could mean for her Crew. But this is White Beard, with all of the things he's seen and places he's been, he might have some idea how to do it without Robin. You're not necessarily wrong, but I've seen lots of anime do unique and interesting things with amnesia plot lines.

I think the weirdest thing with Whitebeard not knowing about Wano is that its another emperor's territory which is something that at least among the emperors should be common knowledge since seemingly everyone else is also aware of that. Just the fact that Kaido has been running his operations out of their for years alone should set off red flags.

My biggest thing was the “why he didn’t become king of the pirates”. I know the general answer is “because other Yonkos” but honestly Luffy and co are doing well for themselves after only a few months in the New World. Whitebeard has been around for years yet he hasn’t. It makes me think he didn’t want to become king for some reason. He said before with Roger he didn’t care for it, but It’s weird cause his crew said tons of times “pops will be king”. It’s weird cause why would the crew want that if he clearly didn’t want to.
He had 0 interest in that. His plan was to crown Ace when he considered him ready. At all the other effects, he was the ruler of the era.

If Whitebeard is convinced by his crew to make him King, I think the first thing he would do is go to Shanks who was part of Roger's crew and might know a thing or two about it and get what info he can. He has to address with Shanks that Ace is Roger's son, and they have to talk about how even if Whitebeard succeeds somehow, he still isn't particularly long for the world. So it is entirely within possibility that Shanks would work WITH Whitebeard to make it happen under certain conditions depending how much Shanks actually knows about Laugh Tale and the One Piece. This way Whitebeard has enough help to deal with the fact that he is kind of barely hanging on and definitely could not fight either Big Mom or Kaido on his own and live. He probably would track down Neko and Inu in preparation for Wano, and coincidentally stumble upon that road poneglyph when he and his crew explain their plan. But since no one thus far has shown to know the location of the 4th poneglyph we start to run into 1 last problem- No one other than Robin knows how to read them. And I have a suspicion that Laugh Tale isn't 1 permanent accessible island, so even if Shanks did get there before he may not be of any help leading them back. And what then happens when they get there and see what the One Piece is. There has to be a reason that none of Roger's crew used their knowledge of the One Piece or Laugh Tale to take up the crown or use it against the World Government, and Whitebeard, Shanks, and their crews would have to decide what to do with whatever knowledge they get about it.

@@Broockle Nah, Ace would still have been in all of the newspapers as he was miraculously saved from the jaws of the World Government, plus he is Gol D. Roger's son, also the adopted Brother of Straw Hat Luffy and adopted Grandson of Garp the Fist! I am pretty sure Sabo would have at least gone through a similar scenario that happened, but just far less tragic and regret filled and far more wholesomely tear jerking and relieved.

The whole amnesia thing is such a wonky character trait. It's really not satisfying no matter how you spin it.
@@Broockle There was a scene where Sabo briefly heard about Ace from someone and it sparked something in him, but that feeling was over as quickly as it sprung up. Also, it wasn't the fact Ace was dead that helped his memories return, it was the fact that Ace was the big topic of discussion, his name and face being thrown around all over that did it for Sabo judging from the flashback, but for the sake of a more interesting plot, Sabo's memories don't return all at once, but Ace is definitely there and so he feels drawn to him and that is first contact the Revolutionaries and Whitebeard Pirates have over the time skip.
Things with Robin could potentially arise from that, but that is all depends on the stances Robin and the Revolutionaries have over the prospect of White Beard becoming King and picking sides between WB and Ace or Luffy with the Strawhats. White Beard might have to have a heart to heart with Robin over what this could mean for her Crew.
But this is White Beard, with all of the things he's seen and places he's been, he might have some idea how to do it without Robin.
You're not necessarily wrong, but I've seen lots of anime do unique and interesting things with amnesia plot lines.
