Yep. Agreed. The same thing was told to me at my local outfitters. The iron sights on that are dead on. Gonna leave it just as is. It's a beautiful firearm as is. Solid can probably last another 100 years. It was well cared for, cleaned and stored. It was passed down to me. I will cherish it. Boy if these old rifles could talk I bet you'd hear some stories that would blow ur mind. Thx for the advice, I'm takin it.
