I'm from Puerto Rico and this really makes me happy knowing that this woman did what ever she could to get this dog. 😭 It's a very difficult situation that we have here in Puerto Rico. You can find all kinds of stray animals in every corner and there are very few animal shelters. Non of the shelters are supported by the government because there is no money for these kinds of projects. It makes me sad because I wish I could help them all out. 😢
😭 I'm from Puerto Rico and have to say that animals are so mistreated and abused. I have rescue and keep a lot of them and want to thank you for saving and give him the opportunity to heal and forgive humanity for all the atrocities. ❤️

This story made my eyes well up with tears, especially when she said that someone in PR had tried to end his life with a machete. That makes me both mad that someone could be so barbaric, and sad for that poor baby who has such a beautiful disposition and sweet soul. I'm so glad that this family rescued him, and gave him a chance at a happy life that he deserves. God bless them all.
Pit bulls are the best. I have two of them. A little female that was abandoned in a house and a large male that was used as a bait dog. They are both the sweetest dogs. I cannot imagine my life without them. They both bring me immense amounts of joy and laughter!
Carlos is awesome. These so called unwanted street dogs end up being the best pets. One person's trash will always be another person's treasure.

Me too! She's so kind and gentle but big and dark, so people avoid her. Except in my neighboorhood, everebody knows her and loves her! Especialy the children.

1:57 THEY NEVER QUESTIONED WHY HE LOOKED LIKE THAT, kids have this beautiful ability to see the real beauty in things and it's just amazing. It's an ability that we adults tend to forget sometimes.

I'm just wondering how precious Carlos is doing. He's so adorable. The other day I saw a stray pitbull in the street but I didn't have the courage to pick him up. I felt so guilty afterwards. I live in an a small apartment and the owner doesn't accept dogs at all. But I just can't wait to buy my home and actually have 3 it 5 dogs and also cat. I love them all

She is an amazing mom. First to teach her children dont live with prejudges, and second to love the soul of living creatures. How many people doesnt wanted a sick/"ugly" pet? Carlos is so sweet and beautiful, and she got another dog, which look senior. This lady has a huge heart. I love this family.

People need to realise that entire cultures use Pitbulls as nannies for their kids specifically because they're such a protective breed. When you allow a Pitbull to be properly socialised with kids they will be the most loving caretakers.

Sorry for your loss. I know the heartache of losing a fur baby. I lost my 11yo Labrador to cancer nearly one year ago. Unfortunately, the hurt never goes away but it does hurt less as time goes by.
Kevin P same with me but he was 10 and on April 14 his battle with cancer ended.

@Games Master-sorry for your loss. This July 19th will be exactly one year of my dog's passing. I miss her terribly. I spent nearly $5K on cancer chemotherapy but unfortunately, the cancer was too aggressive and she passed away 3 months after her diagnosis. Fortunately, my Pet Insurance paid for most of the cost of treatments.

One of my best friends had a pit bull when we were kids, and then he got a pitbull when he moved out on his own, and then he got another pitbull after he started his own family. In my experience with these dogs, pitbulls are one of the best family pets i have ever seen
