    I believe this style of free riding is far superior to KOTA and requires way more skill. You make it look amazing.

      Wow, thanks a lot! Both require a lot of dedication and repetition. Biggest difference is that I'm not in a lot of pain after a crash 😂

    Sorry but I have to write this again and again and again. I love how you're doing the tricks. It just looks stunning. Like you'd have unlimited time in the air. Everything is so damn effortless. Thanks for this nice video. Pleasure to watch after work.

    dude your style is so steez. That toeside backflip transition to kiteloop nose grab was insane. I really wanna learn that

      Thank you very much! It's one of my favorite tricks. Start with toeside pops and backroll, than you can add the kiteloop in low winds.

    The toe side backroll kite loop (or whatever) is so sick

      That's exactly what it is 😉 It's also part of my favorite trick list.

      I make plenty of mistakes, so the plan is to keep on showing them so people understand it's not all perfect riding with us 😅 Glad you like the content!

    Boy you're legend. It's all so easy and smooth, even fuckups done with style almost till the end. Great experience watching your content. Also videos production and cuts and audio is totally awesome. Keep it up!

      Thanks for the compliments! It was a really good trip with loads of progress. The nice conditions definitely help out to repeat the tricks and extend the grabs for more style 😇

    Crazy style - as usual :) So do you prefer Nexus, not the XR for these stuff?

    • @stevenakkersdijk
      @stevenakkersdijk  Год назад

      I enjoy both kites. For the tricks where I don't loop the kite the XR is easier because the carve is slightly less important. But I love the way that the Nexus pops you out of the water and it defenitely loops better. Over all the Nexus is a more playful kite which I really enjoy

    how much cost the whole kit ? and what do you think about hyper

    • @stevenakkersdijk
      @stevenakkersdijk  5 месяцев назад +1

      That all depends on the gear you buy, second hand will start around €1200 for a good kit (bar, board, harness and kite) If you buy everything new you're looking at something like €2500+

    I love your style! How do you train blind takeoffs?

    • @stevenakkersdijk
      @stevenakkersdijk  Год назад +1

      I trained them by riding blind a lot and trying some small pops from blind back to heelside. From there you can build it out to the backroll.

    I have seen many kitesurfing IRL and on youtube, but I must say that you are fucking sick of what you do, really a good style that reminds me of the skateboarding steezy. Big Up man! :D
