An indie game I highly recommend is The Messenger! It's an action platformer that takes inspiration from Ninja Gaiden, Super Metroid, Castlevania, and Sonic CD. It's a really good game with challenging levels, innovative game mechanics, a cool plot and witty dialogue! It even has a free DLC pack with extra levels, bosses, and lore! I highly recommend it, especially due to a ton of elements that I can't spoil here. It's on the Switch eShop for $19.99 USD!
