For our first day in the Lucerne region of Switzerland, we're heading outside of the city to do one of the best hikes in the area. Our first activity will be riding the Stoos funicular up a 110% grade! This is truly an engineering marvel. After the most interesting funicular ride, we made it to the top of Stoos. This is a great starting point to a beautiful hike - Kingenstock to Fronalpstock. Hiking in Switzerland is one of the best activities in the country - it's free and has some of the best views!
While we definitely underestimated the hike, I would highly recommend addin this to your Switzerland travel plans! The views along the entire ridge line were incredible and made every stair well worth it.

That trail looked incredible! Super cool that you can hike from one be lift to another, too! Those lofts look like science that I don’t understand. 😂

Very nice video ❤. It's so cute how english native speakers have trouble pronouncing our village names sometimes. This one's pronounced "Shtos" , the "o" is extended for a little bit and pronounced like the "o" in "hold". 😊
