To this day I still think his 2nd TW should have been his cloak, which would work like Shirou's TW and increase either DMG RES or effect duration. And his passive might double the duration of his art gen for the hell of it

Understand that in my vision he is not 100% must summon because i already have very good characters and equips, so for me is just another strong/ok support obviously not trash and bad or medium but he is not ALL that, that the community was talking about. But this is my opinion if you want him go after some crystals and do the alchemy summon and the first multi, then you decide if you're gonna continue or not so yeah. Good luck for the ones that will summon for him.

After getting shirou, summer illya, light illya, chloe, saber, Valerie and miyu i tried going for summer miyu and failed. But seeing this character dropping i dont think i will have enough crystals tnis character.
I got shafted and resisted further crossover summons for BF Emperor. Thank Noire I held off collecting my 500 crystals from the 1500 days log in mission too soon making it enough for me to pity him if the summoning goes south Sucks now that he lost his pseudo heal meaning to bring a healer is somewhat necessary when dealing long term fights.
I resisted so much during the fate crossover, I have 1,450 gems right now!! I've been waiting for this unit for so long and I'm ready to max him out as soon as I get him!!!
Yeah honestly he is super meh as an art gener, but you need to look at him as a support in general, cuz with his NA+SA he can basically give a 55% CD reduction on any kind of equip, which means in a team with 4/5 support equips he will literally double the amount of art you get. And his TA has a very big dmg res down on top of the art, so It's still great. Tbh he isn't the end-it-all unit that people make him out to be, but he is very very good especially at lb7.

But I guess based on what you said he'd place below SS Liza, since she can reduce eqct by 60% in one TA while bfemp need to use both NA and SA. Not to mention her 300% dmg boost to the whole team and unique artsgen type on skill. She lost on dps though.
Dropped 315 on packs yesterday..and walked away with everyone but summer miyu …was able to max elixir 6 of those hero’s …including bf emperor…im done for a cool minute
i have a dillema. i only have 100 and wanted to use 50 for the fate reset (I have 37 pity stones) should I just buy summer miyu and save the 50 for emp or should I just use the fifty? (am gonna spend a bit of banks at the black Friday deals)

Technically shirou but if you reroll it gets more complex because shirou without artgen is... Well useless But if you get Illya or Chloe along Shirou, then Shirou all the way
@@MiyuKuhaku remember that if he rerolls now he will get the 10 day ticket for a unit of choice. So the best reroll would be shirou, Smiyu and BFE, plus chloe from the ticket. That alone would let you clear 95% of the quests in-game.
As someone who played with both on jp, i feel like they have different roles. Trying to nuke is way easier with Roy, and ofc on water teams he's a must, but it really doesn't just throw emp out of the window
