I just fear for battery life. Maybe just give a small screen with battery life, or small lights like when you open it. 4 on one side in increments of 25%. 4 on the right side, and one in the middle for the case to show charging or charged.

What I reeeeeally want to see is Lossless audio, hopefully up to 24bit/192KHz since that’s what Apple Music supports. That res would also give Apple an advantage over the Android competition with LDAC that only supports 24bit/96KHz. Maybe we could also get some lower latency, along with further improvements to ANC?

I wouldn't actually mind that. It could be in a sense a revival of the iPod Touch, if they manage to get storage on the case. Because I could imagine myself leaving the phone at home and taking them for a run. Though, its not a priority feature, but welcome when it happens properly.

Can already control most of that from a watch and it arguably easier, or the phone, of course. I suppose it might be of use if someone linked it to an Android device. But for someone immersed in the Apple ecosystem it is redundant.
I don't see any reason why this needs to happen because if you're working out or running, you can use your watch for music control or the airpods themselves. This would also cause the airpods case to have less capacity to keep the airpods charged anyway.

I have a problem with airpods pro 1 , airpods pro 2 , after long use, during charging it only charges RIGHT airpod 100% , but LEFT airpod is 0% and not charging. I cleaned up following youtube help and tried everything, its still not charging LEFT air pod. Feels so annyoing, its so expensive, purchased nice ESR case for its protection. When not charging both sides ,whats the use ? I wonder whats the new one going to be , the same problem i guess.
I woke up to this on multiple occasions, but luckily for me, in every instance all i had to do was wipe the bottom of my airpods and then they did charge. Very annoying to wake up to this, but my airpods have never been actually broken, just dirty.
I would never buy another Apple branded earphone. They are beyond crap. They always come out your ears, have terrible battery life and extremely uncomfortable when worn for long periods.
Depends on the shape of your ear. I find them extremely comfortable and they never fall out but for my wife she can’t wear them so it just depends on how you’re built.
I just want the original transparency back These days it mutes quiet background noise and every time a loud truck or train drives by it cranks the volume
Btw, the real “AirPods Pro 2nd generation” you compared the fake ones to are the first generation not the 2nd generation like you said. Can tell because the sensor on front on the real ones is shorter like on the fake ones, they actually accurately depicted that on the fake ones 2:37

Last time a device got a touch screen integrated, it was the MacBook and they removed the feature. I don't think Apple will do this to the AirPods, as even a touch screen like this needs an OS and they will not do an AirPodsOS, also the Apple Watch can already do that more conveniently. I did not encounter any issues with iOS 17.4.1 on my iPhone 12 however, I did not find a release of iOS 17.4.1
