- We drive our Class A RV from New Mexico into Arizona where we visit the petrified national forest and Meteor Crater. I have seen the crater from the air many times and driven by it dozens of times but this was my first time to stop and explore the crater. Definitely worth the trip!

Its amazing how close that meteor came to hitting the visitor's center !! 😏
Just like the dear crossing signs that they put in the busiest part of a road -you'd think they'd know better!? ;)
That's brilliant .....
I was there when it hit. Boy was that scary.
🤣
That darned meteor just missed the visitors center, amazing!
Fascinating footage and great chemistry with Dakota there. 🥰
I just love that Bobby is able to land such beautiful awesome girls half his age.
Yes. Also helps to find the girls with daddy issues...
🤭
Thanks for having me along. Enjoying the trip.
We were visiting the crater hole back in 1989. while driving out to it we saw 6 alien space ships, 6 antelopes and 1 impact crater. It was expinsive to visit the hole back then too.
Flew over meteor crater in a small 4 seater plane in winter. Kinda cool to see it covered in snow.
you didn't talk about how The astronauts that first landed on the moon trained here. The PBR shirt looks excellent!
Interesting tid bit, Apollo astronauts trained at the bottom of the crater as its surface was determined to be the most similar to our Moon than anywhere else on earth. Hence the astronaut at the bottom of the crater. I've visited the crater in the late 90's and its size plays tricks with your head, its one of those places you think you could walk around in no time or walk to the bottom easy peasy. I can't recall exactly but I think its around 3 miles in circumference.
Hey Dakota, where abouts are from? You have an interesting accent, I like it. You are a great addition to the channels, we are very happy to have you aboard. Wish you the best
Bobby you are awesome, the Canadian saying is ,, It’s Beer O’clock when you are thirsty lol
Great video and quite an interesting place.Wonder what this area looked like many, many years ago when it was inhabited. Thanks for sharing Bobby and Dakata..take care and stay safe! 🙂
FYI the Meteor Crater in Arizona is not part of the National Park system. It's privately owned. That's why it costs so much to visit, and why you can't use the regular National Park passes there to get in for free. It's designated as a "National Natural Landmark," which is a voluntary program under which the owners pledge to keep the site as it is. EDIT: Sorry...I posted this before finishing the video. You literally said the same right after I restarted it!
But if someone missed that in the video, you got us covered. Thanks for the comment and clarification Jeffery.
Woow that crater is amazingly big!!!....nice work Bobby and Dakota can't wait to see Burning Man's videos!!!!!
Great Video! Yes you were pretty smart not to take the motorcycle and side car,the extreme temperature changes from hot to cold and back hot again are insane in that part of the world.
I was at the petrified forest just a couple of months ago and remember that car. Well worth the trip. I don't know why we didn't visit the crater since it's less than two hours away?
Tip from an old RV’er. Get a spring loaded curtain rod and hang a nice shower curtain to isolate driver’s compartment and keep the cold AC in the cab. No need to cool the rear when you’re driving.
We did crater last year(2022)… amazing!
So ...... is Dakota the new Steph? Inquiring minds want to know.
I hope not. Steph can't be replaced
Lots of things got the Bobby " pretty cool" stamp of approval.
Dakota looked 🔥 in the PBR t-shirt there at the end!! 😍
Hello Dakota ♥️♥️♥️ I live in New Mexico
You said you flew over the crater? That must be a thing with pilots. lol My son is a AC130-J pilot in the Air Force. During his initial flight training his first cross country flight they flew over it and he took a picture for me. He's got a lot of other cool pics too from training flights with special forces. His co-pilot wasn't near as pretty as yours! lol Fun stuff and Dakota's a very nice part of the team. Fun stuff
Wow! never been the first to comment on one of your channels. Being an RVer i like to find new things to add to our own adventures. I like Bobby's videos and drone footage. I saw your Burning Man videos and will say ....Rough week this year!!!. Thanks for doing your channels i really enjoy them. Welcome to the adventures Dakota. Love your Flying Doodles.
My wife and I were out there last August. Was really cool to see the Petrified Forest and Meteor Crater!
Meteor Crater is an amazing place. I saw it and was trully impressive
I guess Dakota is the “it girl”!
I was just in Vegas for my first time too
That is the crater in the movie Starman with Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen 👍
Was there in 2014
Neet video. I was just on route 66
When went to the hole in the ground in 2020, it was $25 per person. We promptly declined and drove to the backside of the thing and took a pleasant hike in. No crowds, same view, with our wallets intact.
I went there saw the price and left. Interesting but just a big hole in the ground.
It's fun to see Dakota getting more comfortable in front of the camera. Cheers from Nashville Y'all.
The meteor site was pretty cool.
Dakota looks fine at any speed ?
Been to both parks, love the places.
Burning man video will be awesome
Hopefully u go again to burning man next year
I was just on a road trip including there in aug
Ya meet yer bird mate pilote and all giddyup. Go on me son three generations watching ya.
nice video
Love the meteor craters ... and their stories .... wow that's right where they blew up the first nucks .... and funny no picts before 1945 when they tested the first nucks ... wow what a coincidence .... yes it does add up ....
Well I can't wait for the Burning Man video.
Thumbs up for Dakota.
👍✅ Fun stuff guys, tks!
Bobby …….totally setting…..hope the plugs work….
great video 👌👌👌
You got to enjoy the very smooth interstate 40 in Arizona. I’m just kidding as I think Arizona has given up on maintaining their roads.
I went to Meteor Crater back in 2012, and the most fun thing there was climbing the stairs to the top of the rim of the crater...where the winds get whipped up as they come through the crater, and can be two or three times as strong as the prevailing winds that day. Did you folks climb the stairs, or were they not allowing it due to the wind being too strong?
Bobby, are you 2 ever gonna get up in 2 Washington State?
Looking at the petrified forest, I noticed something....they look like they were CUT down🤔
They were cut .... all had saw marks in them and smooth cut edges ... which totally destroys the evolution dating ....
They’re rock now. Rock breaks.
@@tedspence-f7ilol, I hope you’re joking.
How is Stephanie doing in school?
You probably already realize this but the microphone wasn’t picking up very well at all when you were filming outside compared to indoors.
What happened to your hair Bobby? Did you let Dakota cut it?
We don't get to see Vegas & what you did?
I like Dakota. Glad she is staying on. But what is that thing on her back........a zipper?
Looking forward to every Glamping Doodles with Dakota. It's too bad we had to replace Steph but damn, she's hot. "Shut up" Ha ha . I liked that.
It's not about looking at it from European stand point, it's about the fact that the "modern murica" as we know it, doesn't really talk about or celebrate the old history. So the review mirror only goes back to somehwere mid-1700s
Anyone know why Bobby has the hack of his head shaved?
GIT a wind sock for the camera.
The fees for most parks are getting way too costly for families and that is not a good sign. The people having to pay to see what they already pay to support with their taxes.
So strange that something that big hit the earth , but none of the remains are there🤷 it's almost like sasquatch, if theirs so many of them running around how come no one ever finds femur bones from dead one's 4ft long
Is she your daughter or girlfriend? First timer on your channel and i like your content. Subb'd
👍🏻
Burning man, AKA muddy man, this year.
Camping with your daughter?
👍🦅😎🇺🇸
What would a Doodles video be without Bobby complaining about the cost of something. smh
Not for the cost of beer, liquor and cocktails
Does Dakota even have fun? She seems like the teenager forced to go on a road trip with the parents. Watched her on both channels and she doesnt seem that into it. Taylor was the highwater as far as Im concerned.
Bobby, I gotta say your last couple Belize videos and this video seem awful choppy. Please slow down before you have another st.....
Interesting. Where did the Meteor Know to fall down directly near the visitors center?
Stud 1958 ??? More like 1928..
Vast amount of open country that used to belong to the Native Americans. But they were brutally removed as part of the great westward expansion of America. And now it's all still uninhabited. How inhumane was that??
They moved away from the Four Corners region about 800 years ago, long before any Europeans were there. Most likely due to climate change. The water sources dried up, so they moved on. Same reason so few people live there today.
@jeffreygunn3530 That is the cover story. Dig into the unbiased information of the Indian Removal Acts of the 1830s all the way through the gold rush of California in the 1840s and 50s. Hundreds of thousands were removed west and southwest of the Mississippi at that time. Again, take time to look for unbiased research. This will be my last comment as this is not the place to debate. I was just stating known facts of American history
Denny, you need to learn some history instead of virtue signaling. Native Americans also slaughtered each other and the people here before them. Should Native Americans pay reparations to the people before them? How about the people before them. Your ignorance is really showing. Native Americans were conquered. Get over it beta boy.
@@dennyr6248lol, you think you know, but you have no idea.
Bobby, I have been following you for a long time, as I can't get out and travel like you do, so please do me a favour , stop taking your amazing female partners to the same place you took the last several. I need 10:30 10:30 to see more variety . Oh and you have had some awesome travel partners, but do yourself a favour, keep this one

No dogs allowed.
Not much to see in new Mexico lol
What?
As far as your hair, We don't care! lose the hats! Shave your head! YOU will still l be you!
So wrong I think kids should be free at the meteor place plus it’s good for our kids to learn history and adults i can see 10 dollars ea not 27.00 what a joke
Ok bobby you can put your arm around her and kiss her on camera, pretty sure your laying the pipe already.
It's crazy hoe close to the visitors center it hit...
