I just change the turning light to LED and the relay for proper flash frequency. This bike loves 10W60 engine lub especially you ride long distance. Right now I put it at 38,000 km mileage for 2 years with no a single mechanic problem. If you commute on this bike, OEM USB outlet is useful. Love this bike. Kawasaki gives cruiser a pretty new taste. And Japanese smooth engine is hard to beat.
I own a Raider 1900 and I’m interested in the new 2020 Rocket 3 GT. When you own something like a Raider 1900 and with a 2500cc cruiser with over 160 HP and torque, suddenly, HD became a cheap made uninteresting bike to your eyes.
I just bought a 21 Vulcan. It’s not fancy, but it’s a great bike. No 1 reason I bought, it’s only 213 kg . I’m 64 years old and I wanted a bike which is easy to handle. I’m confident that I can still handle the bike 10 years from now. It has a 60 hp engine, it is certainly fast enough. I’m riding my bike in the Philippines where the roads are not as wide or good and often very crowded. The 650 is an ideal bike for me
As long as I can only have 1 bike, it'll be a Harley! But I would like to ride a lot of different bikes. The reason there are so many styles and power levels of bikes is because there are lots of people with lots of tastes. Different strokes!
Dude. I obsessed over this bike when I first saw it at the local kawi dealer. I wanted it so bad as my first bike but unfortunately my credit is terrible (thank you student loans) so I couldn't get financed for it. I ended up with a Vulcan 900 which I do love, but I still want one so bad.

easy neutral finder has been around since late 70's on some of the older kawasaki 4 cylinders, Had an 08 650 versys, that was a great bike, very light and is a blast on the backroads

Yeah, I would say so for sure. My wife has been riding less than two months and feels the most comfortable on the vulcan s than any of the other bikes, including the Honda Grom. Lol.
kslikk34 it is my first bike. Almost 2 yrs and 27000km, never had any issues. Other than the seat is a bit hard on long trips. Seat reupholstered and stock other wise.
There were a few frames in this video that looked like you were comparing the vulcan S and the street rod. Is that the case? I thought I was like the only one picking between those two bikes lol.
I would like to see the mid controls if you feel like doing it. Would it be great? Would it suck? There are no kits as far as I have seen so you would have to improvise. I have Protaper bars on my S (Henry/Reed bend) and put the pegs in the reduced reach position, but I would still like them a little further back. Some say the reduced reach seat helps with handling, but it looks like shit. I'm a huge fan of this bike and I have owned 20 street bikes and been riding for 30 years on the street. I have gotten mine about where it needs to be except for the pegs. Check out the Puig options for this bike. Put an exhaust on it, you are going to dig it (I did the Danmoto). You will need earplugs. Oh yeah, get the Boosterplug, it's a must.
Vulcan S appeals to rider who value performance and wise enough to know when they are being taken for a ride and short change by a shrewd stealership! Need I say more.. I don't know about you, but I refuse to be victim of false inflated image of 'real biker' non sense! Riding is riding.. Puff!

I dig the harley 750 more for wheelies tbh. But the Vulcan's handling and performance take the win in my book - overall funnwe bike for me.
I bought myself a Vulcan s 650 a couple of months ago and want to try doing wheelies on it. I have a fair bit of dirt bike experience and have never tried clutch popping for getting it on one wheel, any tips?
@@brandonbrowning8273 I was cruising 70-80 without an issue but it runs higher rpms than most cruisers. Probably not great for long hauls but I wouldn't hesitate to rock it for the daily commute.

I have a Sportster and a Boulevard m90... Sporty or Vulcan..sporty will hold value but they are about equal in fun so if it ain't about the money and resale or street cred, i'd say get the Vulcan and ride it like you stole it. FYI though if you are the type of guy that doesn't like being teased.. don't buy either you will be shit talked for both...lol...mostly by people with no bike so..take that for what it's worth.
I’m LOL on your statement on “Off-road capability of Vulcan S” ! With its 130 mm ground clearance, I’m doubting its “On-road capability” here in India whenever it scrapes over every Speed bump in my city ! Anyway there’s no doubt that Vulcan ( or any Japanese Cruiser for that matter ) has better performance, handling and ride quality compared to a Harley ! Too bad these ‘metric cruisers’ haven’t captured US market as well as they deserved !
The ergo system allows for the pedals, seat and handlebar position to be changed. I'm 6'1" but fits me well. If you plan on getting one the vendors would be the best to ask :D

I feel like (cuz I don’t know I haven’t Road one yet) it is like a concept bike that somehow made it to full production if that makes sense lol. I mean it’s a crossover bike. It’s a cruiser but not a cruiser, it’s a sport bike but not a sport bike lol. It’s gnarly for sure but what it is and what it not is is what makes me want to stay away lol. Like most dual sport bikes (not ADV bikes) they suck at off road compared to a dirt bike and they suck at on road compared to purpose road bikes lol. But again I will have to ride this sucker to really make a true comment. I’m just a rambling I guess lol sorry y’all

I feel like (cuz I don’t know I haven’t Road one yet) it is like a concept bike that somehow made it to full production if that makes sense lol. I mean it’s a crossover bike. It’s a cruiser but not a cruiser, it’s a sport bike but not a sport bike lol. It’s gnarly for sure but what it is and what it not is is what makes me want to stay away lol. Like most dual sport bikes (not ADV bikes) they suck at off road compared to a dirt bike and they suck at on road compared to purpose road bikes lol. But again I will have to ride this sucker to really make a true comment. I’m just a rambling I guess lol sorry y’all
