I don't know how beautiful she was, mostly looking at the back of her head. She is clearly a fidgety person while she works. It was an interesting landing to watch with what looked like a nice and smooth touchdown.

I had never seen that level of anxiety in a pilot landing an airplane, she's constantly moving herself, adjusting her earphones and sitting position, that's a clear sign of anxiety trying to relax herself, for me it looks like she was very nervous for the uncertainty of that ILS level 3 approach, although at the end she does it very well, she rectifies yawing correctly before final touchdown and gets to center the runway again, good job.
Brave is not the one who feels no fear, but the one who despite the fear, does what needs to be done

The real skill is inside the autopilot...the captain took control only at the decision height (when you hear the bell ringing) ,but the problem is to safely fly the airplane to the point where you can clearly see the runway...
At that point the landing is routine, she decided to land manually ,but the plane is able to approach, flare, land and brake by itself, fully automatic.

Not in this particular case of the ATR72,in fact the shown landing is a CAT II ,which does not require a special pilot skill,or autoland.
But in case of CAT III landings, with very low visibility and challenging decision height ,the pilot must do an autoland ,because is much more reliable than the manual landing..
The ATR72 is not approved for autoland due to economical reasons appropriate to the user companies ,but would be perfectly feasible...@@rtbrtb_dutchy4183

It would help to let people know the equipment, in this case a Tarom ATR 72-600. In any case, it's irrelevant how attractive a flight crew may be. It's far more interesting that this was an approach close to minimums (although she had the lights within seconds of hitting DH, there was enough time) and that she chose keep the AP engaged until practically crossing the threshold. She did manage a nice touch-down, although it helps that for fog like that to form, winds tend to be calm. Let's see a Cat II landing in a blizzard (ATRs aren't approved for Cat III, but this one was close). OK, maybe not--knowing when not to try landing is as important a skill as an aviator can have...
