Thank you Steve, this is exactly what I needed! I'm creating a year-long training program for massage and physical therapists and I needed to make it more interesting than just a bunch of Word docs and instructional videos. I'm looking forward to learning more from you because I think you're a wonderful teacher!

I am a kindergarten para and this video was amazingly helpful. I am not good with technology but I have had to learn very quickly. I watched a few other videos on loom and yours was by far the best one I saw. Thank you for helping teachers who have had to adapt very quickly to all these new resources.

Thank you for creating this introduction to Loom. More importantly, thank you for informing your viewers that Loom Pro is free for educators and students.
I found you via a blog post by Kathleen Morris (Primary Tech).
As a K-12 ESL teacher in a public school, I was using a different screen casting tool in its basic form (this other service required a paid subscription for advanced features). Having a free Loom Pro membership is going to make communicating with English Language Learners simple.
By the way, I like you Mr. Bill figurine.

I so love this simplicity for screen casting. I have been struggling with learning OBS and now considering Streamyard. I teach art and want to create content for viewing on FB, RUclips and for my private students. I'm worn out with high tech, so perhaps this is the way to go for a beginning. Your video was great! Thank you.

Steve I use Loom 10 times a day to communicate with customers. You put me onto this with your first video about loom. You also put me onto Evernote and Skitch and one or two other things and like you I sort of move around as things improve.
I can only thank you as I would've had to have found most of these things myself so you've been a good help good luck to you.
PS if you want to reach out for more information please get in contact I don't use Loom to do tutorials as it's a little bit basic mainly put mine on RUclips speak soon

You asked for teachers to share how they are using Loom. Im shy. Im not sharing one of mine with the world. I will explain though. I am not currently class committed so my lock down role this time around it a bit different. My school have ring fenced “story time” particularly for younger children. Every day I read a book to the 5 and 6 year olds. I start by photographing every page of the book. I make a power point with the photos. I then record myself reading the book, with my wee picture showing. I do this because younger children need the connections that brings. I am not some actor or author reading to the world. I am a teacher they know well, reading just to them. It promotes the love of books and keeps the connections going. I download the video, then post it to google classroom. I love loom, but die to some issues i had with it recently ( now resolved) I had to try Zoom. I much prefer the speed zoom gives you. Cuts the time it takes between stopping the recording and posting it to google class, by at least a half.
Thank you for this video. I found the latter part of you video most informative because I am demented by messages and emails arriving during recordings. Even those coming from the school flash up more information than pupils require to know 😉
