Bedankt voor deze video. Ik ben al 60 jaar weg uit Schiebroek. Ik woonde in de Crocusstraat. Dat blokje huizen (Crocusstraat, Clematisstraat, Kamillestraat en Larixplein) is gebouwd in 1941/1942. Stond midden in de weilanden. Ik kwam er wonen toen ik 3 jaar was. Midden in de oorlog. Geweldig om terug te zien.

terug naar schiebroek! this is my father's hometown, and i am very familiar w/ the sights and sounds of "old schiebroek"... very nice seeing the houses of uncles and aunties on the 'schoolstraat', 'adrianalaan' etc. the old "dykshoorn" homestead on the 'hoge limiet' has been long since torn down. schiebroek is r'dam's best kept secret! i look fwd to return again [soon].
Yes Old Schiebroek is one of the most beautiful places in Rotterdam. I enjoyed living there. The atmosphere in the old streets are what we called "Gezellig"
Schiebroek is niet meer wat het geweest is helaas... Zelf 25 jaar gewoond. Mijn vader is er opgegroeid. Beste tijd van mijn leven er gehad. Veel groen.
