The best thing about Andy is that, he prononuced all the korean food as it is without translating it to english. 무(mu), 전(jeon), 치맥(chimaek) etc everything he pronounced it perfectly. Loved that he appreciating the culture's language too!
Our d*mn great Korean minister of Culture tried to promote Kimchi Cocktail something... instead of those awesome foods...😧😧 It's because of bossy atmosphere in all offices. Senior officers disregarded and ruined young people's suggestions about what foods will work in global market..😠
That is true of all Asian regional,national and international cuisines ( Japanese, South Korea, Filipino,Thai,etc). People in Asia just get what makes great food. That is not to say that cuisines and food from France,Italy, Latin America, South America, North America etc are bad. All food is great and unique, but somehow S Korea , Japan, the Philippines and their neighbouring nations managed to strike it out of the ballpark in regards to innovation and tradition working together.

I tried tteokboki for the first time the other day when I went to the korean market finally thats an hour away from my house and good LORD no wonder people love it, it’s addicting af!!! I was rewatching this and caught myself thinking that after I descovered these two I automatically added one dream to my wishlist of things I wish I could do before dying and that is having these two jolly crackheads to just take me around korea in a food tour, being their friend must be so good
1. 닭갈비 is at a chain that you can find all over Korea called 유가네 닭갈비 2. 짬뽕 is at a place in Garosugil (가로수길) but I don't remember the nameㅠㅠ 3. 닭발 is at 홍미닭발 also in Garosugil! If you can really handle the spice then I recommend the spicy version there - it's unreal!
Seriously if you produced a book or a video about all the famous fried chicken in South Korea. It would be GOLD. I am planning a 7 days trip to SK, just for fried chicken. Keep up the great works.

As Korean I don't recommend spicy food. Korean foods are normally quite spicy but some foods that emphsize "spicy taste" are crazily spicy and normal Koreans can't eat. For foreigners just choose normanl taste and order not "spicy" taste or you will waste your money and can't eat food stilll with hungry stomach and angry face.
All cultures have a different kind of spice. I'm from mexico and I have a hard time trying spices from different countries at first, but your body gets used to them eventually, so don't feel bad if you're usually good with spicy food and can't handle this!
4:44 when I had Korean food for the first time, my life changed forever. And I’m Indian so I know good food with heavy flavor. Korean food hits all my favorite categories, a lot of seafood, incredible textures and flavor, huge variety, delicious banchan especially kimchi, and most importantly. SPICY.
im not sure why non-koreans find cheese on rice weird. rice is just another carb, and cheese and carbs are a match made in heaven! cheese on pasta, grilled cheese sandwich, and risotto is rice with cheese!

As Korean I don't recommend spicy food. Korean foods are normally quite spicy but some foods that emphsize "spicy taste" are crazily spicy and normal Koreans can't eat. For foreigners just choose normanl taste and order not "spicy" taste or you will waste your money and can't eat food stilll with hungry stomach and angry face.

All cultures have a different kind of spice. I'm from mexico and I have a hard time trying spices from different countries at first, but your body gets used to them eventually, so don't feel bad if you're usually good with spicy food and can't handle this!

4:44 when I had Korean food for the first time, my life changed forever. And I’m Indian so I know good food with heavy flavor. Korean food hits all my favorite categories, a lot of seafood, incredible textures and flavor, huge variety, delicious banchan especially kimchi, and most importantly. SPICY.
im not sure why non-koreans find cheese on rice weird. rice is just another carb, and cheese and carbs are a match made in heaven! cheese on pasta, grilled cheese sandwich, and risotto is rice with cheese!
I live in Europe and I eat rice with cheese all the time. I tought it's totally normal.
