  • LGIP Engine : LPG Fuel Supply System - FGSS Skid
The LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) Fuel Supply System, commonly referred to as the FGSS (Fuel Gas Supply System) skid, is a critical component in industrial processes that utilize LPG as a fuel source. The FGSS skid is responsible for storing, regulating, and delivering LPG to the required equipment or processes in a safe and efficient manner.
The key components of an LPG FGSS skid typically include:
LPG Storage Tanks: The LPG storage tanks are designed to store the LPG in a safe and controlled manner. They are typically constructed of high-quality materials and equipped with appropriate safety features such as pressure relief valves and emergency shut-off valves.
Pressure Regulators: The pressure regulators are used to control the pressure of the LPG as it is delivered from the storage tanks to the equipment or processes. They ensure that the LPG is delivered at the correct pressure for safe and efficient combustion or utilization.
Control Valves: Control valves are used to regulate the flow of LPG from the storage tanks to the equipment or processes. They are typically actuated valves that can be remotely controlled to open or close the flow of LPG as needed.
Filtration System: The filtration system is designed to remove any contaminants or impurities from the LPG before it is supplied to the equipment or processes. This helps prevent damage to downstream components and ensures reliable operation.
Safety Devices: Various safety devices such as pressure relief valves, emergency shut-off valves, flame arrestors, and leak detection sensors may be included in the LPG FGSS skid to ensure safe operation and prevent accidents.
Instrumentation and Control: The FGSS skid may also include instrumentation and control components such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and level sensors to monitor and control the LPG supply system parameters.
Piping and Connections: The FGSS skid is connected to the LPG storage tanks and the equipment or processes through a network of piping and connections. These are designed to meet safety standards and ensure reliable flow of LPG.
Electrical and Control Panels: Electrical and control panels may be included in the FGSS skid to provide power supply, control, and monitoring for the system components.
Overall, the LPG Fuel Supply System or FGSS skid is a critical component in industrial processes that rely on LPG as a fuel source. It ensures safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of LPG to the equipment or processes, and proper design, installation, operation, and maintenance of the FGSS skid are essential to ensure safe and efficient operation of the LPG fuel supply system.

Excellent material. Can I ask why they heat the LPG to 34 deg C? Why not slightly higher or slightly lower?
