- Today we head on a road trip and along the way, we stop at too many LEGO shopping destinations! For some reason everywhere we went seemed to have retired LEGO sets! In addition to LEGO we also find some great food and spot a deer up close and personal!

Even today in 2023, I am still amazed that Canada still has Toys R Us stores with life. The US locations have long since closed and are reduced to mere pop-up places within Macy's stores.
In Germany we now he smyths toys, it's a absolutely nice Shop with soo much lego sales
This was actually a food tour! I couldn’t focus on the LEGO to be honest.
Definitely pick up the mobile crane. A really compact and neat build. Definitely the pick of the new CITY sets so far in 2022.
Great finds. Seeing retired sets makes me think I should've jumped on the LEGO bandwagon sooner...especially the architecture sets.

I can’t believe you saw the roller coaster set! Canada seems to have the best Lego selection. I can’t believe some of the stuff you find. All the stores near me have the selection similar to the Walmart that you went to…

Really enjoyed this vlog. A lot of similarities from where you visited and my hometown of Aberdeen, Scotland. We also have a town called Banff about an hours drive away. We have a Mackie’s ice cream here as well. The factory is just 20 minutes away in Inverurie. Petrol here is £1.43 per lr. Aberdeen is oil capital of Europe and many people here are employed in oil industry so again another similarity. We don’t have any Lego stores though and Toys r us shut down many years ago!

Glad you had a good time, I live in Cochrane myself and spend more time in Banff than downtown Calgary. Walmart is always meh. The South Calgary Walmarts are far better.

$1.389 per litre for petrol. I’d love to be paying that again. Here in NSW Australia, we’ve been around $1.799 and higher for months, almost a year

I don’t know what is going on at Toy’s R Us. They have increased the price of 99% of the Lego set from 1$ up to 30$ compared to MSRP. It is the only store I have seen doing this in Canada.

Hi Bricksie, please don’t complain about the gasprices. Here in the Netherlands we pay around 3 CAD per litre. So it can get worse 🤑
