- New for 2018 is the new collection of plants from Yarnspirations. Introducing the Crochet Snake Plant.
The snake plant is using the large soil format for the container. I would recommend sewing the plant to the top soil before finishing off the soil itself. Therefore, all of the strands of the yarn for attaching the flower to the soil are hidden inside the ball.
There is two sizes. I may have considered added more to the pot just because I can. It's using Lily Sugar'n Cream Yarn.
The tutorial has both sizes of soil to cover your basis and focuses on just this one plant.

We have always called the "Snake Plant" "Mother-in-law's Tongue". Which makes me think . . . my dear mother-in-law kills every plant we get her, so maybe this is what I need to get her!!
We know them here in Australia as ‘Mother-in-law’s tongue’ as well! I think because they are long and pointed; like some mother-in-law’s tongues!! 😆
Could you take the wire, and stitch it in when you do the spine? The same way you hide stragglers?
If I want to make it a bit larger how do I add another width to the leaf
Cute
Can you make these with acrylic yarn?
I just have, & it looks great. 😊
do you do your first stitch in the chain on or the next stich
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
