My Uncle told me these ruck sacks really sucked when you really did have to hump with them. For me I was issued the later ALICE large ruck sack and they are much better for humping and speed marching provided that I put all the heavy stuff up top.
Great video Jame I have a P68 rucksack frame but I need straps and shoulder boards (straps), do you know where I can get some straps, thanks. deltamike327
Thanks, God bless you.
We had a Company CO in 1/4 carried one of these. His from Vietnam. 1976
I have the sack of the pack, now ordering a strap kit for it, all I need now is a frame!!!
Thank you so much for this video :) Just got my LightWeight Rucksack straps, this is gonna be very helpful :)
This video was so helpful! There are hardly any good videos on rucksack assembly, but I stumbled upon this one luckily.
After seeing the assembly and amount of straps involved. I now totally understand why the ALICE was made. Love the video though.
You should make more videos. I’ll look forward to seeing more videos like this.

@@moodischill5801 Did I say this was an ALICE pack? You better read again. This time slowly.
what is the point of like half of those straps on the frame?
cargo and accessory. for mounting or tie down.
You kinda look like detective Eric mathura from saw2
Nice video dude. Must've taken a good long time to get all of the original equipment
