I would've gotten the ultra had they not made the internal build and specs shitty compared to the others. Was excited to have a big screen "laptop" without the split screen looking weird. S8+ should be beautiful for what I need.

I pre ordered the ultra version, don t rush and say like a lot of people that the ultra is too big coz they regretted it. The ultra version is so slim that is easy to carry around as well, the portability of this tablet is way better than people expected. They made tablets for all the needs. The normal s8 is for reading e books, taking notes and easy to carry around, the s8 plus is just perfect for gaming and the ultra for content creators, multimedia multitasking, netflix etc etc. So all around depends which one fits ur needs..

yah, i have to disagree. The S8 Ultra imho, is just to big and is not comfortable to hold. It is also to big to play many games in a comfortable way. Also, none of these tablets are for reading, get yourself a eink tablet for reading. This is a android tablet and if you want something for content creators that includes editing pictures or video, a pc is recommended and not a android tablet. Saying that the S8 is for taking notes but the S8+ and Ultra is not... is wrong... they all do the same thing.
If only they put 5G LTE in the S8 Ultra for the US market. They decided to only give the S8+ the LTE service. I had to get the S8+. I really wanted the Ultra.

Hello . Thank you very much for your video. It is a help. I originally got the ultra on open box (presumed wxcellent) from Best Buy. However, when I went and picked it up it was all smudge. Minor details right just clean it. However, there was no data charging cable in it. My sister and I were super turned off. While customer service was great, the fact that they didn't even ensure that the data cable which was recorded on the box to be in it was actually in it. On top of that, they wanted to give me a 20 refund for a charge that was going to cost 45. We just gave it back and ordered the Splus. Here setting it up with this video now. There is one issue though which I need help with. I followed what you said about clicking the button on the spen, but nothing came up. I placed it near the device but nothing came up.

Bluetooth mouse over a usb-c hub will make things a whole lot more streamline

For basic tasks yes but anything advanced (video editing, graphics etc) it's not quite there yet IMO

I am trying to figure out if I really think the S8+ is great. The S Pen on the bottom is a pain in the rear. Not being able to use the tablet with AT&T wifi if traveling in the car or where there isn't wifi. I have until the end of the month to decide if I am going to keep it. I give it a 6 out of 10. They didn't send my book cover or keyboard with it.
I just unboxed my tab s8 plus today and noticed that when I started it up it was immediately warm. It's been a long time since I've had a tablet, is that normal?
They just aren't really offering enough atm for my galaxy tab s7 5g. I'd like the bigger amoled screen but other than that and a slight ram bump I don't see that much of a difference unfortunately
The difference is in 1. screen and 2. size. I personally hated my screen of my Tab S7 and I am happy I switched to the Tab S8+. Besides the screen, they say the biggest difference is with the speed of the pen... the S8 shortens the latency to 6.2ms. If shoppers splurge for the Tab S8+ or Tab S8 Ultra, they get an S Pen with a mere 2.8ms latency... they say this is the most notable difference. The Tab S7 vs Tab S7+ has latency of 26ms vs 9ms.... Tab S8 vs Tab S8+ has latency of 6.2ms vs 2.8ms.
The s7 is good as well.

@@jemmyclarson yeah agreed totally..i was very much pissed off by the time I had to wait for it to get delivered..they surpassed my maximum delivery date by approximately a week and that too only after complaining to them several times...but finally it's here and i can tell yout it's worth waiting for..i had to wait for 45 days

I would not say it is better... one is apple OS and one is Android OS. In the end it comes down to what you prefer. Me personally, I am rocking my new Tab S8+... ultra is just to big and the S8 screen just sucks.
I choose this over the iPad for the expansion slot, included spen and dex mode.

I have upgraded to the 8+ to give rpa bit of rest to my s4 the 8+ is a powerhouse could run even pc AAA games in my opinion
For that it needs a gpu capable and sorry but a tab couldnt put a dedicated gpu without making it as big as a laptop

I'm considering whether it's still a good idea to purchase the S8+ with 256GB (excluding Samsung Keyboard with trackpad) later in the mid of 2024 or if it would be more prudent to go for the S9 with 128GB (including Samsung Keyboard with trackpad)?? both options have similar prices

I want to know if trading in and iPad is worth this product. I recently went from Apple to Samsung for my phone and I somewhat don’t like it, but overall I’m not going to complain about it. I am really questioning if fully switching to Samsung is worth it.

The Tab S7 is the greatest electronic device I have ever had! It's a masterpiece for me.
I one day plan to buy the Tab S9 or S10 Ultra to go along with my Tab S8, just to watch movies and videos! That gigantic screen must be amazing.

@@nagb5471 I loved loved my Tab S7 but HATED the screen. I had a lot of light bleed and it bothered me when I was watching movies (with the two black lines, one above and one below the picture), I also had even more light bleed when I touched the edge of my tablet. I traded it in for a S8+ (plus the price was crazy good). I feel the S8+ is too tad too big but I will have to deal with that since I don't want the screen on the S7. And the screen on the S8+ is SO MUCH BETTER then the S7, no light bleed at all, even when I press the edge. As long as I don't crack the tablet, I think I will fall in love with the S8+.

It's been a couple months now since I've bought this tablet and it is great. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxAxiUS5CgVC3j8FwNOHt037zhsquGQpXv The tablet is responsive and runs well. There were a few times that the tablet did an awkward thing where it would detect pen on at all times and wouldn't register finger press, but it is usually fixed by closing and opening either the screen or app. This is highly likely due to my excessive use for drawing which caused this and wasn't really very big. As I mostly enjoy using the tablet for drawing (and some light gaming), I would comment from that aspect that there is definitely more accurate pressure and drawing using a PC device and drawing tablet, however i find the moveablity of the tablet more enjoyable to draw on. Like how you can physically rotate and move a piece of paper around or even draw casually on your bed.All in all, as a tablet it is good, and as a drawing device can be good depending on what you want from a drawing device. It is definitely good enough if you just want to use it to take notes. For typing though I can't comment on the keyboard as I did not get the keyboard.
