Isn’t she wonderful, I know she’s only 8 but go back to Norway’s got talent. She started in contest at 7 yrs old and won at 8 yrs old. She also sings Amy Winehouse and Billie holiday and Adele and Elvis and Michael Jackson and Patty cline and dean martin and etc etc etc etc, she just keeps on going and singing

Yes, she blew my mind when she sung "Summertime" at age 7. One of my favorite performances. She is from Norway -- English is her second language. Crazy performance. How does she even know this stuff? How many generations apart is she from this music?????

It's interesting what young 8 year old Angelina Jordan did with this song,she took the Dinah Washington version,which is slow and sweet,but,the vocals,the tone is like Esther Phillips,whose version was a Disco version. Basically Angelina honored both of them at once,brilliant

Thanks for another fine reaction to Angelina. Delighted that I subscribed to your channel when I saw your first reaction to her and I'll be around for a long, long time. As you saw in this video, Angelina is absolute confident with facing a large audience. There is no fumbling for words, no rushing the song. Her timing is impeccable. How one so young can exhibit such traits is beyond belief.

We all have the same shock and awe reaction when we hear Angelina sing. She is the most versatile child singer is existence.
Performing so easily out all by herself on that little stage, surrounded by that large audience, at such a young age is amazing.

A great review of a remarkable performance. The on thing you didn’t comment on that needs special mention, is that she is performing on a tiny stage in the midst of a very large audience with absolute confidence at 8 years old. Truly amazing.
You really ought to see her at six singing “I Who Have Nothing “.
From your Mom's era- you should check out I'd Rather Go Blind (Etta James cover) and Every Time We Say Goodbye (Ella Fitzgerald cover) . If you haven't checked out Norway's Got Talent there are 4 songs(7/8 years old). First two are Billie Holiday . Bang, Bang is 60's and final song, Summertime goes back to Gershwin's Porgy and Bess. Exceptional!
This one here is pretty great no matter what age, but at 8 it's extraordinary. Her confidence, comfort, and stage presence are those of a long time stage performer. Love this girl!

Norwegian was her first language outside of the home in Norway but Farci was spoken in the house. Her Mom is Scandinavian and her Dad is Arabian. English is her third language. Japanese is her forth. There is material here on RUclips of a concert she did in Japan and sang in Japanese. She has arranged all her own material since she was 8. She comes from a family that has financially been able to raise her safely tucked away from the music business and allow her a band and a couple of exceptional guitarists and the very best in technology. She has wanted to be a singer since she was 3. Kudos to her family. They have moved to LA and she is 14 now. Rumors are that the family has recorded and is releasing a 12 cut album soon, all originals by Angelina. She has her own Label. I thank God for her every time I hear her sing. I do believe that she became the best female singer to ever live when she was 10. I have listened to everything by her I can find and it all points to she is the best ever. She is being raised without the pressures of a recording contract and the such. Her family wants her to just grow up in as normal an atmosphere as possible. There simply are not enough words to describe the talent that she is.
Her mom is Norwegian and her father is from Sveden..Her grandmother is from Iran and granfathet Japan. She is born and reist in Norway.
