I visited over Christmas and was very impressed, particularly with the buildings representing real locations. Unfortunately it wasn't running but I'll be back when it is. Parents used to take us on Saturday mornings in 1970s as bribery for going shopping in town. Good job folks :)

Glad to see this is back where it belongs and getting a good makeover. I remember seeing it some years ago in the original museum and was hoping it would be retained. Looking forward to seeing it.
I last visited Derby Museum just as the closure notices were going up at Friargate (GN) Station. I remember the 'O' gauge/7mm Midland Railway exhibit as it was. Somewhere I have a booklet about it. I am so pleased it is being resurrected.
