It took you half the time that others took to show how to do this, plus, you also (accidentally) showed how the movement is attached to the base. Thank you!
Things Ive learned doing this from experience: 1.Do your research and know what battery your watch uses 2.Lay your watch in a clean surface to avoid scratching the crystal 3.If you have a steel bracelet make sure to disconnect it from its clasp to give you room to work on your caseback and movement. 4.Get proper tools because a screwdown caseback (shown in the video) is harder than you think it is no amount of pliers can open it without scratching your caseback. 5.Once opened get your tools ready and be gentle on removing the battery since you can break the mechanism holding the battery in place 6. If you decide to work with a flat head screw driver to remove the battery please AVOID HITTING THE COIL or you'll have a useless non running watch 7.If youve done everything successfuly good job make sure to blow out any dust before screwing your caseback down.
Thank you, Ms Natalie 🌹🌷 how accurate are those "designer" watches? Got a MK 5428, needs new battery & wrist band needs 1 or 2 more links. Thank you 🤓😸😉
I’ve just come across this video. I have a very similar watch with the same back but mine will not move whatsoever. Is there something you did to loosen it up?
Nope. I just used the tool i had. Now the tool i use in the video isnt the proper correct one so it doesnt quite have the proper grip needed if yours is super tight. Mine must been much looser
That is a fake Michael Kors! Your credibility is tainted when you do videos like this using fake products! Plus, there is a reason why a 10ATM water resistant watch requires specialist to open/close the back, *Pressure Seal* My humble opinion.
What is a "fake Michal Kors"? MK watches are junk fashion watches and massed produced. Its got a 2 dollar Chinese movement in it. FFS the battery cost more than the movement. All in all she did an excellent job of getting that case back opened without the proper tools. In fact, the needle nosed pliers she used work just like the special tool.
@@gwsjr1not all people are watch nerds who knows and cares what movements their watch uses if it works for them it works. I disagree with you on that one there not "Junk Watches" my friend abuses his to the point where its crystal is heavily scratched second hand bent and bracelet fully worn out and water damage aswell and guess what still "WORKS". Just to let you know they use movements Miyota and Seiko which is Japanese not Chinese, there not just "Junk" anyway I know this since I've fixed alot of Michael Kors watch and some are junk not gonna lie theres even a Micheal Kors watch you barely can tell the time😂
