  • Helllllo! I'm back with Part 2 of my Winter Soldier / Bucky Barnes cosplay build! This section -- the jacket, harness, and belt -- was so fun to make and film. I really hope you all enjoy!
    All of the patterns for this project will be free to download. Of course, they are made for MY body -- I'm a 5'5" woman -- so they may need to be adjusted. However, they'll be a good starting point for anyone making this arm!

    This is amazing so far plus the arm. This is motivating me so much more because after being a Bucky fan for years, I’m finally gonna be cosplaying as him next year!

    I love how the result turned out, great job but I have a question: I understand that these patterns are made for a girl like you, but how can I adapt it for a man? Please specify who I am, should I modify only the measurements or should I also modify part of the design you made?

    Basically watched this PART 2 with my jaw on the floor. WOW!!! Couple of questions: 1. What brand/model sewing machine? It took those vinyl folds like a champ! 2. Does/will the contact cement be enough to hold the straps of the harness onto the main gun plate? I don't have much experience with EVA, and was just wondering because contact cement just never seemed that strong to me. Incredible techniques and tutorial; especially the heat and foil ball to texturize the belt and straps. INCREDIBLE!!!

    • @universeofemily
      @universeofemily  Год назад

      You are SO KIND! Made my day! 1. The machine is a pretty old Singer - not sure of the exact model but it used to belong to my mom😂 2. Absolutely! Contact cement is PERMANENT when binding foam to foam surfaces. If used right, there’s no way it’s ever coming unattached!
