Been using this device for 2 months now having gone from the Xiaomi 12 which was a great device with the only short coming being the curved screen. This device hits it out the park and pretty much all other new releases thus far. Honestly when you look at what your getting for around £600 , gen 2 processor, 256gb storage and upto 19gb ram (12+7 virtual) great build quality, quality 120 hrtz screen. You really can't go wrong
Whattt where tf did you find this at 600 pounds; at that price its a steal for sure. Too bad the rest of europe has to deal with stupid 1k euro price tag, at that price its poor value.
@@alpha-ky2ms purchase mine from China. 256gb with 12gb ram, only slight downside was the China rom however it's possible to install full google service's as I have done. There are some downsides to the China rom however now the global version is out you can now install the global version. Meant I could get the phone early with just a few inconveniences but the good out weighed the bad
Best thing about this is the size. It's a great sized device that's not too big nor too small. Would be a great one handed device that doesn't feel like a brick

I have no doubt that these are great devices. But prices (all companies), especially flagships are just crazy nowdays. I don't know about Xiaomi (at least you get charger and headphones) but S23 series comes with a LOT of apps that just can't be uninstalled. Two SMS apps, two email apps and a bunch of other stuff (Spotify, Netflix, all those useless Samsung apps...). I get that companies earn extra money that way, but it shouldn't happen, at least on the most expensive devices. With no expandable storage, we should choose what we want to be there. I think reviews should at least mention that - all these processor and hardware stuff reached the point where all flagships are more or less - the same.
The Chinese version of MIUI14 allows you uninstall almost all apps, including their gallery app. Only 8 can't be uninstalled. I believe the international version will do similar stuff.
@unholydonuts reviewers rarely mention any problems on Samsung devices, and there are a lot of them, not only bloatware. I could understand double apps on cheaper devices, but you just can't be greedy and try to take each penny when it comes to flagships. Buy Samsungs A series, it's very similar to S series. And S should be comparable with Pixels and Iphones, not their own budget devices that cost 5-6 times less.

The Xiaomi comes with a charger, case and screen protector, so effectively cheaper once you add these. Also, no 12GB option for S23 which is a deal breaker for me; Samsung needs at least 12GB for my usage.

Never buying a Xiaomi again. I was quite enthusiastic about them. On paper, their phones are amazing value for the money. In practice, however, the experience is lackluster. The software is underwhelming. Things feel buggy. Updates take forever to make it to international release. Hard pass for me.

I like this device especially with its size which would be perfect for me. But somehow I dont get warm with the OS. It is just not as customizable as other Android UI's and I dont like it in its default way. Hopefully other Android manufacturers will build devices in the future which also has this device size. Normally they offer a small model with around 6,1 inch and a bigger model with 6,7 inch, where the smaller model is too small and the bigger model is too bulky for me. :D

The ram isn't really effective I turned it off on every single phone I have except the one with high background usage.

6.3-6.4 is the perfect size for phones, after using a wide variety of large ass ones, doesn't hurt my wrists

Poco F3 was not a flagship (I have it too). If you don't want to pay for premium, you can wait for the Poco F5.
