    As a veterinary technician, I know how important it is for newborn animals to get colostrum to help them thrive. Are animals being bred just for the colostrum to put in skin care? Sorry, but this bothers me. I appreciate you opening my eyes to this, Dr Dray. I didn't even know this was a thing. Thanks as always. Happy Wednesday! I hope you have a lovely evening. 💜

      Literally the stupidest thing, NO this is not just for skin care. You being a vet tech means nothing to the fact you don’t know what you are talking about. The side effect of colostrum helping skin is small.. and it does not GO into skin care. This ingested to help give your body nutrients and defense to help promote healthy glowing aging skin. Look into this more before making comments and feeling sorry for a animal that this product goes to waste once it’s done nursing their calf . Thank God for Cows

      And by the way, Colostrum is released right after an animal gives birth. Not the whole time its nursing. It's nutrient dense to help the baby get off to a good start.

      Sorry about that, people are very uneducated about the benefits of colostrum and where it comes from ethically. The owner of Armra has great interviews about how she began the company and how it helped to heal her. Check it out

    Leave the colostrum for the babies! I’d rather try an alternative, seems unethical and surely colostrum is made in relation to what IT’S OWN baby needs and not a random adult

    Taking it from animals is so cruel 😢 it's the first time (sometimes the only time) the mother can feed her baby. I can't. Different level of abuse. I pray it won't become a thing in the future. Unless they find a way to make it in a lab or something

Some of the things they say I kind of side eye but they have never denied me actual medication if I request it. They also will put in labs for me whenever I ask and will put in requests for mri or other tests I need without giving me a fight. It's never too late to learn in life. My husband was 51 years old when it clicked with him that cows have to be constantly pregnant/give birth in order to produce milk for the baby cow that they then take away from the mom. It's really cruel. Not pushing you to go vegan, but I think it's always good to educate ourselves, and then we can make an informed decision based on our values, whatever that might be. 😊

As most mothers say "colostrum is like providing not only food for my baby but also protecting it by gifting with an invisible shield (aka colostrum that has been shown to demonstrate such kind of properties)". Thank so much Doctor Andrea for the information it is really fascinating 😊❤.

    Am I missing something or do the newborn animals actually need the same colostrum mammalian moms produce within the first 36 hours to maximize their newborn’s life expectancy? If we use it on our human faces,, do the animals not lose out on this super dense nutrient created specifically for them to thrive? Ironically, does that not perhaps negatively impact the mammal’ s overall nutritional value for humans who eat mammal meat as a major source of protein, vitamins and minerals? Maybe it’s created in the excess…?

    Can you do a video about how to go about purchasing UPFclothing? To my understanding Coolibar is the ONLY one that claims their rating never washes out & guaranteed for the life of the garment where other brands such as Solbari claim upf 50 up to a certain amount of washes....while random brands at Walmart, Target, TJ MAXX , AMAZON claim UPF rated but provide no further info into their testing or guaranteed effectiveness on their label or website. My question is who do we trust? Can any brand claim UPF rated? Is the term regulated? whats the standard? Personally, if im in the market for UPF rated clothing , I want the best in terms of quality & longevity & guaranteed protection. No temporary BS that washes out or comes undone......or WORSE...ineffective at all because it's a lie! Please, some guidance & further info on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

    I’ve taken WonderCow Colostrum Powder for a year now. Unfortunately I don’t believe I’ve seen any difference in the way I look or feel at all. Zero. Zilch. Nada. I think I’m on my last container. A whole years been a very fair chance I think plus it’s pretty expensive. I realize it depends on one’s own personal financial situation but for me it’s been expensive especially to get zero results . 🤷‍♀️ I’m really disappointed actually I had high hopes for colostrum. Oh well, next. Lol.

    Lil over 10 yrs ago, I bought bovine colostrum capsules from Sprouts and ingested orally for a couple mos. (Why? I heard about great benefits from an older coworker). I started to develop painful cysts in my lower labia. Definitely digested hormones and nope, no thanks, not for me!! 😅

      No one is stealing milk from animals, calm Down. All of this milk goes to waste once it’s done milking. So it’s no stealing and it is so nutritious for humans. There is no reason to prove why we Stopped taking it. If it’s good for babies nutrients why not continue it for adults

    So I hear a hint of you calling out people that are wanting more natural less processed products. And it does sound like you may be calling them a bit hypocritical due to the processing of colostrum products. However, arent you doing the same thing by claiming to be vegan but use and push/recommend products that are tested on animals? I mean vegan stands for no harm to animals right.

    • @DrDrayzday

      Products are not tested on animals, except in RARE circumstances where required by law. Even China has done away with animal testing. Many of the brands I promote are responsible for developing animal-free testing methodologies that are widely used in the industry today....in place of animal testing. They should be applauded for this by those who care about animal testing, but instead they are demonized because they haven't paid for a "cruelty free" sticker??? Makes no sense.

    • @michelletidler6773
      @michelletidler6773 Месяц назад +2

      @@DrDrayzday Thats not entirely true. They state they dont require testing on ordinary products. So its not free of animal testing. These lines suppliers also test on animals. Neutrogena is also not considered vegan as some of these other lines you recommend are not as well. China still requires things like sunscreens and whitening products as well as haircolor and other products to be animal tested.
