Max drives an OVERSTEER RB….the RB is always oversteer. That’s what’s the fastest car and that’s what Max likes. Checo likes an understeered car. You need to rethink….
I wouldn't even call this innovation. Asymmetric braking isn't novel, some teams just follow the clear cut rules and some don't. Red Bull knows that their punishment will be light if caught (cost cap, etc.), so why not take the chance.
Like Big banks were considered too big to fail, the FIA’s silence suggests that they think that RB is too big and important to F1 to be subjected to the harsh response that the breach of regulations require. This scandal they have decided to sweep under the rug. If it were a lesser team, the full force of sanctions would come down upon them.
You make a very apt parallel. That would seem to be the card the FIA would choose to play, but would the other teams feel that way. I'm sure that Ferrari would like to have the 2023 title, which is theirs by right.
@@a.m.armstrong8354I would go as far as saying that F1 was party in the cheating on the first place. A team getting away for possibly over two years with a illegal car that was historically dominant? That wouldn't be really possible...every car on the grid being inspected for every race of the season (40+ races in two years). Those inspections, gear heads, would have been giving the Red Bull ton and ton of attention...such a supposed mechanical marvel would be a gear head magnet because gearheads love genius engineering. I'd say that F1 knew about it all along and was forced to take action by a third party. The FIA allowed Red Bull to to cheat so that Max could circle the track race after race all by himself. That way he wooden collapse on the world will racing and would be able to get the "wins" he needs for the to build him up as being a great champion.
Why would the FIA think that RB is too big and important in F1 to be subjected to the consequences when bigger teams and names like Ferrari and Mclaren paid the consequences of their own actions in the past?

Not only that the poisonous team that he drives for has many of the same characteristics who at the drop of a hat throw their toys out the pram and blame everyone but themselves in the pursuit of victory. Their over elaborate arrogance has basically stuck out like a sore thumb highlighting that they may well have benefited with a secret edge over the rest of the paddock. If Red Bull have been allowed to run illegal parts on their cars, break budget caps and if the rumours the FIA have been assisting in doing so there should be a major enquiry into the integrity of the sport and ultimately the removal of championships and the reformation of the governing body

I love the ingenuity of F1 engineers! These guys will always find ways to work around the regulations! I'm not a RB fan at all! in fact I detest the bloody team and their prick of a lead driver! But talk of taking points or championships away is utter nonsense! 😂😂😂 If it was illegal, then there wouldn't have to be rule changes to outlaw the tech! I was definitely against the 'spirit of the law', and hence, the mid-season rule changes. We have this at some point in most seasons, and it's just part of the game!
Maybe newey knew all along and left to save his reputation (since he is the designer so most of the blame will target at him). But imo this seems more like a DAS situation where its not directly cheating but just a loophole that rb found in the rulebook. But since its less visual it took longer to found out than das which could be seen on onboard footage.
If ratified by the FIA, then all 2024 contractors points may have to be zero'd. Also driver's points? If retro penalties are applied, would demands for rebates of contructor title winnings be in order?
This happened in the past for all sorts of things(dynamic suspension, braking difusser, etc) when rules change teams should follow up with regulators. I dont see any problem here besides the fact if max was really running illegal equipment after rule change for 2 or 3 races.
I believe that this Adrian Newy Designed RB system worked best without driver any braking and was used in corners where there was no braking, such as in high speed turns, and in fact worked while accelerating out of turns. So there you have it.
Practically the same thing has quietly been removed from several teams over the last 10 years. Remember Mexico a few years ago when everyone chewed up tires but Max rode many more laps on the tires and he said over the radio his tires felt fine? I said then something was up with them.
Why is this video trying to be so dramatic? 😂 The FIA just closed the loophole and moved on. They have done it a bunch of times over the years. Renault’s mass damper, McLaren’s F-duct, the flexing wings on the Ferrari and later Red Bull, Mercedes’ DAS system, Ferrari’s turbo trick, now this. Michelin used to make their tires capable of expanding once they got up to temperature, then return to normal width once cooled down so they could pass the FIA compliance tests. They did it for years, but when they were caught it was just banned without Michelin teams being punished. This is what happens when there are grey areas to exploit.
So, basically the brakes act like tank tracks steering, stop the left track, tank turns left and vise versa ??? Dont quote me but i think 4 wherl drive group B rally cars used a similar system when left foot braking, bias from left to right rather than front to rear??
This no cheating. This is what F1 teams always have done, still do and will be doing in the future. That’s called innovation and developing. It’s up to the FIA to say wether it will be allowed or not and so they make new regulations. So before the rule this wasn’t illegal.
There is no innovation that's illegal before they ban it. "Fairness" is bullshit. Every team working their hardest to one up the competition. Otherwise they would all be racing in the exact same cars. And that's not F1.
This is utter crap. If Redbull had been caught using something illegal Toto and Brown would be all over the news and they aren't, why is that? Perhaps it was because they knew RB were not using anything illegal and the clarification came because a couple of teams wanted clarification on the technical aspect. All designers look for the loopholes in the rules and the one they had spotted has been closed. What is a question for the conspiracy guy's is why has McLaren suddenly gone from being midfield to being over 20 seconds clear of the next fastest car? It is unheard of to have that big a turnaround midseason and they have left all the other teams scratching their heads. It is possible they have found a secret within the rules that none of the others haven't time will tell.
1. Allegedly, 2. Not illegal until rules changed, 3. All teams innovate and will take advantage of loopholes (remember DAS?) I call total BS on this video…..
Only have to look at your name and the number to know this is going to be totally bias bullshit😂😅 they should let max use Russell's car for 1 race just to shut the lu lu fans up😢😅
You know this is all rumors right? People like you are so gullible when it comes to things about Red Bull. The rule change was not targeted at Red Bull
I can tell what’s not going to happen. They aren’t going to go back in time and take away wins and strip titles. Because you can bet your life this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. If they strip wins from RB everybody throughout the history of the sport will be vulnerable to losing wins, titles, etc. That would be a catastrophic precedent to set.
Well paste my face with strawberry jam and tie me to a ant hill. sbinnala44 you did say you had suspensions Red Bull were cheating in one of your earlier videos, looks like you were right. keep up the good work.
Remember! It’s a reality programme! Producers and editors. FIA controlled, and financially led . All the ridiculous decisions of late just prove the point . Whoever wins ! It’s because FIA wanted them to win
So now we know why the lickle bstd was dominating 😢🤬 it's all max nothing to do with the car they said 😂 when mercedes had to change anything it was all done in the open but anything to with red bull it's done in secrecy.

I have seen many people repeating what Horner and Toto said, as if Horner and Toto knew about mechanics, but in fact, these two people are dictators who know nothing.
Max drives an OVERSTEER RB….the RB is always oversteer. That’s what’s the fastest car and that’s what Max likes.
Checo likes an understeered car.
You need to rethink….
@@Redlingsteinu wonder, u should wonder a little bit more
I wouldn't even call this innovation. Asymmetric braking isn't novel, some teams just follow the clear cut rules and some don't. Red Bull knows that their punishment will be light if caught (cost cap, etc.), so why not take the chance.
You are correct. McLaren had an asymmetric brake system with a second brake pedal in 1998.
@@baliktad8 Wasn't that why thevrule was introduced?
@@baliktad8 so RB learned with Mclaren? That explains it!
@@riccouchman5604 RBR were given a free pass due to their golden boy. He's the F1 insurance policy against Hamilton's 8.
@@winojoe6788 so the fact that Red Bull equalized the record of the MP4-4 Honda was also set up considering Red Bull was illegal.
The FIA's secret punishment should not be kept secret. It should be public. First Ferrari's engines, a few years ago and now this.
There is no punishment COS NO TEAM USED IT!!!
So much for the Flying Dutchman 👀Maxverasterisk.🤣The Redbullies have been caught with their hands in the cookie jar 🫙 and those championships are very questionable at best but Mr I can see Air Ie Adrian Newey Saw the Proverbial writings ✍🏾 on the walls and abandoned ship 🚢 before it sank 🤣 it’s gonna be a long season for Maxi and his pads 😂🤣
Lance Armstrong lost all his Tour de France titles so that kind of punishment in sport isn’t unprecedented…
The FIA wanted a marketable driver/team that could overthrow the establishment and a petulant, moody and dangerous driver that we got in MV ticked all the boxes.

Old saying, "if you ain't cheating, your not winning" until your caught, maxy...
And what will they do? If they punish them severely, it's an admission of bad management on the FIA part. If they do nothing and try to cover it up, it shows complicity and corruption running to the core..
I do hope they throw the book at redbull because the boss has always struck me as a man with no honour. And having watched reports of how he treats his neigbours without compassion, my resolve is solid
CHEATERS 😢 KARMA COMES DOWN HARD! Take all victories away 😂
If it's not in the rulebook, then it's not illegal. That is why they adjust the rulebook.
It’s been in the rule book since 1998. Read what the black lettering says in the rule. RB figured since their system is a passive one it was legal.
@@baliktad8 why did they adjust it??
red bull cheating again
I love the ingenuity of F1 engineers! These guys will always find ways to work around the regulations!
I'm not a RB fan at all! in fact I detest the bloody team and their prick of a lead driver! But talk of taking points or championships away is utter nonsense! 😂😂😂
If it was illegal, then there wouldn't have to be rule changes to outlaw the tech!
Great engineering
"Nothing to see here, move along" fia & the red bull mantra 😂
They should take away all of Red Bull wins for the last two seasons due to cheating with the asymmetric braking system
Now we know why Newey left?....
2021, cost cap and now this, its looking good.
Not cheating , great engineering
The question isn’t whether or not Red Bull is cheating, but rather how many different ways can they cheat and get away with it
So, basically the brakes act like tank tracks steering, stop the left track, tank turns left and vise versa ??? Dont quote me but i think 4 wherl drive group B rally cars used a similar system when left foot braking, bias from left to right rather than front to rear??
This no cheating. This is what F1 teams always have done, still do and will be doing in the future. That’s called innovation and developing.
It’s up to the FIA to say wether it will be allowed or not and so they make new regulations. So before the rule this wasn’t illegal.
Nothing at all will happen to them. FIA is spineless. Toothless.
There is no innovation that's illegal before they ban it. "Fairness" is bullshit. Every team working their hardest to one up the competition. Otherwise they would all be racing in the exact same cars. And that's not F1.
The great white hype exposed once again
Pitty the get rid of all the brilliant ideas that come out of F1.. (not only Redbull) Imagine they can implement it in road cars..This will be great.

So Crash Willhappen is up with the greats then? Do me a favour.

James, you talk about RB as if you are ignoring the fact that they have been caught cheating with Asymmetric braking system.
Since when F1 cars brake under cornering? What advantage has a tool that is not used in 99,9% of braking zones?
This is what ferrari and beneton did in the 90s: robbed the sport.
Liberty Media CEO use to be the RB CEO that's why
Omg what BS!You guys are so desperate.
1. Allegedly, 2. Not illegal until rules changed, 3. All teams innovate and will take advantage of loopholes (remember DAS?)

What’s cool is that it was actually legal. You wouldn’t bother trying to read the regulations so you wouldn’t have known that.

Yes bcase ppl so easily jst let it happen
I can tell what’s not going to happen. They aren’t going to go back in time and take away wins and strip titles. Because you can bet your life this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. If they strip wins from RB everybody throughout the history of the sport will be vulnerable to losing wins, titles, etc. That would be a catastrophic precedent to set.

Who in the team knew? Newey used it at McLaren ..it was banned then
