- In this video, I will show you how I make curler stars (originally curler stelute) that are designed by an amazing artist Krystyna Burczyk. Check out her origami work at www.paperstruct....
This is such a fun and easy craft to make and a great decoration in the festive season. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I do. The star is surrounded by rose-like curls.
In this video, I used the regular A4 coloured papers. Cut them into 21 cm x 21 xm squares. This results in a origami ball with an 11 cm diameter.

Hi Maria.. yes. Given firm folds, the pieces should remained locked together for a long time.

Which kind of paper is used here?

Just fyi, this isn't origami. This is kirigami.
I think it is origami... more specifically modular origami, but origami nonetheless. Kirigami involves cutting the paper, the only cutting used here is to obtain the starting pentagon, which is permissible.
