@@ezelfrancisco1349 So true. I got more feels from this live action version when it came to town. Watching this most recent one leaves something to be desired. I liked Cinderella an Jungle book but these last few live actions have been flops.
I saw it a few years ago from the Orchestre de Montreal, it is hard to express the feeling that inhabits you when those voices pierce through your body. You feel like you are tuning in to your primal heritage. I want to see it again.
It was my first show on Broadway in 2000 and from my aisle seat in the 8th row, this parade of animals made me cry. It just did it again. Such an amazing evening in the theater.
Thank you for bringing us to our childhood with this masterpiece, I will make sure my children will hear this song too.. love you all!! AFRICA Forever ❤️
Still can't believe I'm gonna live this experience in June. First time in London, coming all the way from Brazil and being able to watch The Lion King live, a month before the "live-action" remake...
I watched it in São Paulo. Can't remember most of it because I was crying my eyes out the whole time. If I saw the original play on Broadway I think I'd either melt into a puddle of tears in a matter of seconds or combust from all the effort of trying not to make too much of scene.
teary eyed watching this, it showcases different talents from creative props, costume design, music, choreography, plus the song! I felt that we are all living together as One!❤
Yes. This at the End. This is the last song when simbas kid is born. Simba wears an Orange V in paint. I’ve seen this show 4 times. I know their costumes.
The Lion King musical has been at the lyceum theatre in London since 1999. Sell out 6 days a week. I saw the show last year with my grand daughter for her 21st birthday, i saw the child in her again, it was amazing. One minute you are laughing the next crying. They do say if you do not cry when you see the Lion King you have no heart. 🦁
Vocals are on point as you'd expect, but something about this composition, this mashup of characters and music is really off. It feels like it's being rushed, and yet is taking forever.
Hannah Buckley - Of course, hence no set. But if they want to show the world a brief snippet of the show, that was a brilliant compromise. Awesome from my seat 20 yards away...
Nothing compares to the feeling of watching them live it was magical
I feel emotionally connected to this performance rather than to The Lion King 2019 movie.
Let's face it. This is the true live-action Lion King

Listening to this, and watching it in person is 1000 times better, I know because I was watching it in person

Why is it that I ALWAYS get goosebumps when I hear the Circle of Life song?!
0:57 Wow, awesome transition of the music there! I've never heard "King Of Pride Rock" in that key before!

"The lion king" will never be forgotten, eternally exists, eternal legend of human being.
so happy i cried 😢
what a beautiful showcase of talent from music, voice, dance, lights, costume.. everything!

I’ve watched this video about 5 times and each time it still brings me goosebumps and tears
My first show when I was 11yrs old, and still to this day gives me chills - 17 yrs later ❤️

@@al3xskng854 no, it's Simba. That's Nick Afoa who is currently playing... Simba
Brings back chills when I was able to see the Broadway Production in Arkansas. Incredible show
It seems like a lot of the different casts try to get a Simba that closely resembles Jason Raize. And I am not complaining. RIP Jason
I think the 2019 remake would have been so much cooler as a live action film version of this rather than CGI.
you haven't even seen it yet
Nick Gurr to you
Honestly this is what I was hoping they were going to do, or at least take some inspiration from it.
The closest we are ever going to get is the Black Panther film - that one is more Mufasa vs Scar but close enough lol.
Every time I see this I get chills. I just love ❤️ this🦁🦁👑
I saw this live in Spokane and to say it was breathtaking would be the understatement of the century
Had the privilege to see the show in Singapore and it remains to be the top theatre show I have ever seen. I 1000% recommend seeing it.
Can't believe ive finally seen this show this year
Wow! Gave me chills! Best childhood memories.
when i saw the lion king for the first time my young self was in love with all the animals and everything it’s a magical experienfe
I got to see The Lion King when it was touring. It’s so well done and it brought tears to my eyes.
I really need to see this show
One of the best musicals I’ve seen!❤️👍

I have never seen the lion king before but I think this is the perfect film
Amazing. Spectacular
Это великолепный мюзикл! Все актёры насколько прекрасно играют свои роли. Нет слов. Я очень люблю смотреть этот мюзикл!
I just get goosebumbs everytime
Im watching this for my musical theatre project and its sick 👀👀🔥
cool! I was able to see the show 3 times in my life time in person before Covid hit and let me tell you, it’s amazing!
Love this show - But that intro... someone take those first few seconds out of context and meme it lmao
Two of my fav things in one video: The Lion King and Tom Hiddleston
yup!
So happy for Nick Aflac 👌🏿😃
Saw their Broadway show in Singapore !!! Amazing!!
Its Simba and Nala
they did a mix of the circle of life and the ending songs
I really really love this
wonderfull song and nice graphics😍
Goosebumps!
So powerful
I really wanna see this musical
Peachy Lollipop it’s really good, u should see it!😃
So perfect.
Vocals are on point as you'd expect, but something about this composition, this mashup of characters and music is really off. It feels like it's being rushed, and yet is taking forever.
My thoughts exactly. The solos were big, vibrant, and soulful. Then when the choir joined in, it was like they changed the singers at the last minute.
For the actual play it’s a lot slower and not as rushed.
Also theres loads of people on the stage it looks a lil bit messsy
During the actual play it looks amazing I think that the camera has made it look off
wow amazing
Omg, goosebumps all over me
I cried
If this video doesn't get your morning started on a positive note then yall woke up on the wrong side of the bed haha!
Omg that have me goosebumps.. amazing x
love that
Fascinating
it's amazing but tbh I think the stage got too crowded, it was hard to pick out the characters individually
It's a surprisingly small stage sadly and not suitable for musicals like these
Yes of course, but it was almost the entire cast so what do you expect on that stage ??
@@MrDRayner I said it was good lmao. obviously it's better on the stage where it's meant to be performed.
Hannah Buckley - Of course, hence no set. But if they want to show the world a brief snippet of the show, that was a brilliant compromise. Awesome from my seat 20 yards away...
Um in this scene its only Mufasa, Rafiki, Simba and Sarabi in it. If you couldn't pick them out in the centre stage. Prescribe for some glasses. 😂
i got goosebumps!
Far better than the recent live animated one 🙂
Amazing productions
Nick Afoa!!!!!! the Best Simba ever!
We watcht this in London😍

Espetacular chorei ameii
