Hi there, it's caused by hormonal changes. If the discharge is watery, it's most likely normal and not a sign of infection. Clear and watery discharge can increase at any point during your cycle.Vaginal discharge helps keep your vagina clean and free from infection. Healthy bacteria living in your vagina
We suggest that if you’re concerned about your vaginal discharge, talk to your doctor. As well, contact your doctor if you have discharge that is green, yellow, or grey or has changes in texture or smell.

Actually the thing is I haven't gotten my periods from last two months and I'm having reddish- brown virgina discharge.. what should I do ? And also from last two months I was in lot of stress because of University entrance exam it could be the reason but I'm not sure....
HI Roshni, this could be because of stress. A general rule of thumb is that a period is considered late if it is delayed by five days or more. Missed or late periods happen for many reasons other than pregnancy. Common causes can range from weight issues, stress, hormonal imbalances or medical conditions. There are also two times when it's typical for your period to be irregular: when it first begins, and when the menopause transition starts. Most people who haven’t reached menopause usually have a period approximately every 28 days. However, a healthy menstrual cycle can range from every 21 to 40 days.
Sometimes, brown discharge can indicate pregnancy or perimenopause. Less commonly, it could be a sign of an underlying health condition. Brown discharge before a period is typically a vaginal discharge that contains blood. There may be several reasons behind the unusual brown vaginal discharge.
If you’ve ruled out pregnancy as a cause, we recommend you see a physician. Your doctor can properly diagnose the reason for your late or missed periods and discuss your treatment options. If you can, keep a record of changes in your cycle as well as other health changes. This will help them make a diagnosis.

Hi Priya, no, taking a bath cannot affect the flow of your period, it is a myth.Some people think a woman shouldn't take a bath or shower when she has her period. Some even think she shouldn't wash your hair. This is not true. There is no reason not to bathe during your period. In fact, a warm bath can help ease cramps.
It's important to keep your vagina and labia clean while menstruating, as the extra bacteria can lead to infections, so, please go ahead and have a bath on every day of your period.

Vaginal discharge is also your body’s way of maintaining the pH balance of your vagina. The fluids act as natural lubrication to move bacteria, dirt, and germs out of your vaginal cavity. However, a thick white discharge accompanied by itching may mean you have a yeast infection. Yellow or green discharge may also mean infection, such as bacterial vaginosis. If the discharge is a pale yellow, odorless, and not accompanied by other symptoms, it may not be a cause for concern. However, you should see a doctor if you're experiencing: pain, burning, or other discomfort in and around the vagina.

How to stop excess discharge and pain
Hey Sony, As vaginal discharge is natural, it's not possible to prevent it. But you can take measures to reduce the chance of infections. Gently wash around your vagina with water, avoiding scented products and douches that may cause irritation. Drying the area thoroughly and wearing breathable cotton underwear can also help. Also after going to the bathroom, always wipe from front to back to prevent bacteria from getting into the vagina and causing an infection.

Hey there, Having a pimple on your vulva is common. It's also known as vaginal acne. You may be surprised to find a pimple in this area. But it's nothing to be concerned about.
Preventing vaginal pimples can be done by adopting some common practices, including:
- Avoiding or reducing contact with irritants
- Treating any medical conditions that lead to pimples
- Wearing cotton underwear and loose-fitting clothing
- Practising good personal hygiene
- Not touching or squeezing existing pimples

Hey Suyasha, Vaginal discharge changes throughout the menstrual cycle, and discharge is often white just before and after a period.
Healthy discharge can range in colour and texture. White discharge is normal and typically occurs in the second half of the menstrual cycle.
However, if white discharge accompanies a foul odour, itching, or burning, this could indicate an infection. This might be a sexually transmitted infection (STI).
Discharge may change to become:
White: This typically occurs at the beginning and end of the cycle.
Clear and watery: Discharge that is clear and watery happens throughout the cycle and may be heaviest during exercise.
Clear and stretchy: This generally indicates that the person is fertile.
Brownish: This often occurs after the menstrual cycle, as the body clears away any remaining blood.
Greenish or yellowish: Green or yellow discharge, particularly if it has an odour, may indicate an infection.

Hey Noor, Vulvar and vaginal itching are common and have many potential causes. In many cases, the itching is due to irritation from clothing, menstrual products, or fragrances. Avoiding these triggers can help prevent itching. In other cases, fungal or bacterial infections may be the cause.
If you have been facing itchiness for a very long time, then we would recommend you to speak to your doctor or someone elder in the family, and you do not need to feel ashamed about anything or worry about sharing it with anyone. These are very natural causes and this is how the human body functions 🙂

Keep your private part dry.
It can be UTI or fungal . Change your diet drink alot of water 8 glass per day , and take probiotics in tables or like curd and kimchi if available and prebiotics . Use dry underwear don't leave it wet and wash daily with warm water ni V wash

Okay this is pretty embarrassing for me.
I get the vaginal discharge only when I wear panties. Other than that, when I don't wear one, I don't produce the discharge. Um. So, am I not normal?

The vagina and the area around it (groin skin, vulvar, etc.) contain healthy bacteria that are a part of our microbiome and include sweat glands. These can produce an odor that varies for each person.
