I watched the entire replay expecting Riki to have a breakdown playing the TR-85M1. Instead, he was measured and composed. He has cetainly grown as a player.
That first tank you bought the era 3 med, the penetration sucks. I found so many shots from that tank. I wish I had some free XP to blow through it lol
What are your thoughts on the new T72M2E? It may be teething issues but I don’t think I’ve played a more frustrating tank in recent memory… the armour doesn’t work especially with the upgraded ERA, the 738mm pen on the gun bounces way too much, i bounced 5 shots in a row off a STRV 122s lower plate and then a 292 on a one shot bounced 2 of its side and one off the LFP, its just been a really underwhelming and poor tank with the games I’ve played in it so far - I’ve never had to put my controller down and walk away before, but I have tonight.
So far I find the T72M2E under whelming. The dual auto cannons are a nice touch but that's about it. Not even sure if the ERA is really working or just for show. I had a similar experience against that Swedish Leopard tank, bounced two or three shots off the lower plate ( well it is a pay to win premium), with no results. Almost wished I would of saved all that free XP.
@@RT-mm8rqi think the ERA is the most frustrating thing, I’ve played 25 games in it and it rarely bounces ATGMs. looking at the armour profile as well it’s got less armour than some era 2 tanks I.E the TR125 before it (290mm at its thickest vs 400mm at its thickest) which would be fine if the spaced armour plate and ERA worked, but in a different era where guns have at least 500mm pen at the lowest. I expected it to play like the T72B and the T72BU which I’ve 3 and 2 marked respectively so was really excited for this tank. But when your turret armour gets beat by an MBT70 and you spend a large portion of your time being set on fire and your 738mm bounced off a chieftains armour (happened 3 times in a row) and a BMP-3 (2 in a row) - something isn’t right. The twin auto cannons are extremely situational as well, they can shred very occasionally if a player over reaches or you flank them, but most tanks have the armour to bounce even off the rear and you burn through that ammo insanely fast.
Would it be an idea to put spall liner on your tank in era 2 against all the RPG tanks. I mean it gives 50% protection against HE. So in theory it should decrease damage received from HE, right?

For sure one of most pro player
One thing the tr-85m1 has going for it is rof. You have a 3.7 second reload and thats without food. That is wild.

They act as heat not he
@@lleog78so the spall liner only protects you from incoming HEAT rounds?
@@MadsCC79 no, spall only protects from he shells that do not fully pen or arty shots that miss near u
2:18:16 machine guns work very poor on merkava's.
I meant bounce so many shots
T72M 2E don't bother its shit era 1 canon so sad WOT CRIME
I think I’ll forget about grinding this line. Doesn’t seem to be worth the effort. Seems like it already needs a buff the top era 3 tank
