Hi I restocked some items for bathroom at my parent’s house (shampoo, soap), some gifts ready for holidays (lotions usually because everyone runs low), lip oils and balms (because it has gotten dry and chilly), hand sanitizer, xenon palette, and herbivore coco scrub. Always enjoy your reviews. Mostly just my favorites restocked - summer fridays balm, Laneige balms and clarins lip oil. Trying Dior, but clarins is tough to beat for me.

I appreciate your real assessment of these products. I don’t trust gushing, but I respect continuing love for products that really work for what you want. I picked up some backup products of things I use daily and a new shade of the Patrick Ta blush which works really well for me. Nothing exciting but it is lovely to have a new blush shade.

Ciele tint is my holy grail🫶👏👍👍👍. Makes my large pores, mature skin look SO GOOD. Its absolutely worth the hype!!😊
It really is such a great product
Firstly, I so enjoy hearing your thoughts on products, new or ‘old’ so thank you for this round up video. I think the Sephora sale only really makes sense for people who can get the 20 percent off, or on products that don’t really do markdowns (e.g., designer/luxury brands). I decided to finally try the Rare Beauty bronzer stick since they’ve finally added a shade that’s both pale and cool, and I got the mini Prism Libre powder. Re mascara hype, while the Lash Clash totally works for me, the Tower 28 one (another really popular one) was a total fail for me - it crumbled and flaked into my eyes every time I wore it. I don’t know if the brown one is different from the black for the Lash Clash, but I also had good results with the Pat McGrath one, so maybe it’s not quite the same formula? I wonder if you’d like the Gucci one - I tried a sample and while it’s not volumizing on me it’s really separating and lengthening for really pretty fanned out lashes. It’s amazing how differently products perform depending upon your climate, or your hair texture, skin condition or type, or even your health. The human body is wild!
I loved the first 2 tubes that I had of the tower28 mascara and then the most recent one I bought has been a disappointment. Same thing happened to me with the Caliray mascara so I don’t know if it’s a quality control issue or just my lashes have become more difficult and stubborn with age 😄😄

I am little bit interested in the Tower 28 concealer but it is hard to find it in Europe.
Good morning Sandra. I stocked up on a few Briogeo hair products, Kosas brow pencil, Amika dry shampoo duo, Tower 28 mascara and concealer, PHLUR Father Figure (Love), YSL satin lipstick, Dior Candy gloss, a mini Rare Beauty blush, and a Nars blush. Also, the Sephora Collection satin lipsticks are great and underrated! I was underwhelmed by eyeshadow palettes and I have the Ethereal eyes and I find myself using oldies but goodies like the Sigma neutral eyes or Persona palette. I bought serums and moisturizer's at the last sale and still have enough to work through. The main winner's which I love, love, love are the Ciele and the Fenty foundation stick ( bought 2). Now, no more buying till spring when I will replace any serums or moisturizer's I may need and probably less face/lip products. Whew, enough damage was done. LOL

I have very dry skin, especially around my eyes. And I LOVE the Haus Labs concealer. (I don’t set it with powder - do t have to, that’s probably key…) 👍❤️

Did anyone else think the Tower28 mascara was amazing when it first launched, but ever since then hasn’t been quite the same formula? I don’t buy it anymore due to repurchases being too clumpy now, but was in love on initial release
yes!!! this happened to me too and I had the same experience with the Caliray mascara as well. 🥲🥲 I thought it was maybe just my lashes getting worse but I’ve heard a few people share similar experiences so it makes me feel less crazy lol
Aww I thought the same!! The Caliray makes my lashes look so short now too! So sad, thought I had found my forever mascara 😢 I started wearing individual lashes now out of frustration from the search, but that’s exhausting too 😂
The Westman Atelier Peau de Peche is worth it. I paid extra to get peau de Sante because the tone is better on me but somehow the “magic” isn’t there🤷🏻♀️. I’m still waiting for refills annoyingly tho.

Great haul.I got the Haus Labs concealer and foundation. I love both products, Iconic London eye liner/shadow pens, mini Pat McGrath blush, Siae Blush, Milk Mascara (on sale), Sephora eyeliner and lipliner and Summer Friday skin tint, which I also love. I wanted to try the Givenchy Prism powder, but they don’t sell the mini in the shade I wanted. I wish they would make minis in all colors, if they are going to make minis, so frustrating. I bought no skincare, because I use The Ordinary and NIOD products when are all on sale for the month of November.

How did you stop (and steal watch these makeup videos)?! I am obsessed myself.
here are some techniques that work for me (I do either of them at any given time, you don't have to do it all at once at the same time)
1. setting up little challenges like "i have to use up or declutter a foundation before i let myself buy another foundation"
2. going on a "no buy" for a month, two months, etc. and while i am on a no buy i make a list of the stuff that tempts me. most of the time, by the time the "no buy" period ends, i look at the list and realize i don't want most of those things anymore, my brain has moved on to something else lol
3. setting up a strict beauty buying budget each month
4. when i watch a video of someone applying new makeup or doing a makeup look i like, i always try to recreate it using stuff i already have. i often end up getting it out of my system when i realize how many wonderful similar things i already own :)@@summerintherockies9530

Unfortunately, Ethereal Eyes didn't work for me although it looks really nice on you. The shimmers are too shimmery for my taste, the mattes are too dark. Wish I had waited until Sephora restocked. Bought it direct. It was labeled not returnable. Passing it on to a relative who is younger and more adventuresome than me. I bought a sample size of the YSL. Found it somewhat clumpy and smudged a bit. I too struggle with mascara not holding a curl. I finally found a lash primer that holds the curl: Suqqu. I bought it and repurchased it from Cult Beauty, both times when they had a promo.
Will definitely keep the Suqqu primer in mind!! Glad you were at least able to pass on the palette to someone that will enjoy it more ☺️
I wanted to love the Haus Labs concealer but sadly I had to return it because it did just look so dry, no matter what I did. I even got a perfect shade match. 😞
Oh no!! i can def see how it can be drying, I have to be diligent with my eye prep to get it to look its best but i am blown away by how good it wears throughout the day. my armani luminous silk concealer is still a go-to for when i am having a ~dry~ under eye day
Just beginning to experiment with liquid blush what I mean as I just got my first one. I have used cream blush a few times now and I’m feeling comfortable with that but I am wondering with liquid blush. Do I need to buy an actual liquid blush brush for application or what would you suggest? I just feel like I have so many brushes that I don’t really want to buy another one unless it’s really necessary.
Depends on the formula but generally you don’t need a special brush! So just try using the tools you already have 🙂 I use any cream cheek brush (real techniques, elf, bk beauty) to blend out the blush. start by applying the blush on the back of your hand first and then work it into the brush, then stipple it on your cheeks. if it’s a sheer easy to blend formula you can also dot the liquid blush on your cheeks and blend out with damp beauty sponge

Just an inquiry I have been using smashbox under eye primer for many years now and it has recently been discontinued and not replaced with anything else. There are a couple of undereye primers on the market but I’m not sure which one might be good if anyone wants to chime in and has any experience with these types of primers, I would appreciate it. I’m really disappointed that Smashbox decided to discontinue it as it was a very effective product and there are not many like it on the market at all
I am using the MAC Pro longwear primer at the moment and I like it. I also hear great things about the Milani Long Wear eye primer. Historically my most repurchased was the Urban Decay Primer Potion, but I got bored so wanted to branch out and try something new haha
