LOL I also remember you talking about Dior "Mimi Rose" and I finally bought it 2 years ago . I wear it in the spring and summer. Better late than never. I loved the Hourglass palette and have bought a second one which is currently in use. I have quite a few of their powders and have no need to purchase any more from them or anyone else. Surprisingly I have never bought a Chanel product. I'm not why but I may have to remedy that this year with a lip product. You look exactly the same and you definitely are consistent in your beauty aesthetic. Probably why I trust your opinions because you don't just throw a much of reviews at us and then we never see you use the products again. I have similar likes to you and love the products you curate. I have been with you since almost the beginning and honestly miss those days of YT. You are one of the only ones I still watch from that time and the only thing that has changed is that you have more refined taste! And girl me too I totally panned my ambient lighting palette it took me 2 years. I love the HG blushes (mood exposure was the gateway drug) and bronzers so I bought a face palette this year and I have their ghost blush palette but honestly their luminous light is something I want back in my life. The goal is to have 1 high end powder and one drugstore. Fragrancebuy for those of you who are Canadian is so good for hunting down discontinued fragrances at good prices too! I have outgrown Prada candy but not my love of gourmands.

I do remember my mid to late teens my mum worked on a Elizabeth Arden counter so I had a few Elizabeth Arden products I think they still make there mousse foundation. I did love that and sugar plum blush - unfortunately they don't make it any more. So fun 😊

I have been a loyal watcher! Laura mercier concealer palette - check! Yes to the chanel les bieges as a bronzer, I copied you with that too! Hourglass ambient palette - check! Dior rosy glow - still have the original! chanel cream blush - I didnt buy this. mac - I didnt get that collection I still wear prada candy night, it's a spicier version that's nice for fall/winter. You are so sweet and have not changed in 10 years, maybe a bit more put together and classier. I have enjoyed so much watching you throughout the year. You are my happy place in the beauty community!
I feel like I found your first video in 2011?? I had just graduated college and my skin was breaking out so bad and you had a skincare routine using the cerave gentle cleanser. I also discovered the Laura Mercier concealer because of you and also still use it today. Watching your videos always feels like chatting with an old friend ❤

I don’t think I went as far back as that video but I’ve been watching you for a long time! Estée Lauder’s ANR was the first higher end skin care product I started using over 15 years ago and I still use it. I also love their concealer. I still have a few MAC eyeshadows from back then 😮 and MAC Mehr lipstick is an old favorite. I’ve bought NARS Sheer Glow many times too. I love finding a product that works so well you just keep repurchasing. Looking forward to seeing your end of year wrap up. 🎉

I literally still own the cream blushes in my “archive” collection - I only archive formulas or colours that are PERFECTION and no dupe exists on the market. And still nothing comes close to that Chanel, it’s perfect
Used the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation for years too - influenced by Lisa Eldridge back in the day! Chanel have reformulated it this year and whilst much the same, is now not oil free and contains camellia oil. I’ve repurchased and used but breaks me out now so sadly, my relationship with my long term love is over 😢

I'm so much older than you, probably older than your mom but I do love your makeup esthetic and fashion choices and your doggie. One of the two products I'm still using that I used 10 years ago is Chantecaille Faux Cils mascara. I'm always on a lookout for something cheaper but nothing holds the curl, gives the length and volume, doesn't smudge and is relatively clump resistant like it. The other one I have been using consistently for at least 15 years is Laroche Posay European sunscreen in both the cream and fluid formulas.I also was a big Touche Eclat user for over 10 years but recently my eyelids got very sensitive and even the least bit of Touche Eclat on the inner corners of my eye causes dry patches. That's a shame because for someone like me with only a need for a little brightening in the undereye area, nothing beats it.

Such a disappointment that the YSL brightener doesn’t work for you anymore 😭😭 sometimes that can happen, our skin becomes sensitive to something over time and then you get a reaction. I know Rare beauty launched an eye brightener not too long ago so I wonder if that could be a worthy replacement for you?
