I'm thrilled to hear you loved the production of this tarot, Simon, where for me while it was so very thrilling to see initially for the Blue Angel to produce such an exciting pip-historically-inspired tarot with the art by our beloved Alejandro R Rozan, I was rather sad to find out that the Blue Angel didn't listen to neither Alejandro nor Jay, in the degree their fans like me could hope...I still love the cards, don't get me wrong - I just hoped for the Blue Angel to be more considerate to the wishes of the creators (by that I mean - tarot-sized cards, original card backs (opposed to 2 of coins), the name of the artist on the front of the box (like we see i.e. in the US Games Erenberg Tarot with the name of the artist/creator acknowledged on the front box))... YOU know, a comment like this is not a common one for me to make...and I do hope the Blue Angel are listening..
I adore this Medieval Feathers Tarot deck already, I don't get why its not getting more tarot-tube love, I think Marseille-aligned decks tend to be the least popular system, this deck is a very serious reader, its quite practical, pragmatic, you have to ask it clear questions or it gets kind of school-teachery with you! the only negative is the unnecessary borders & titles, it would of been more effective without them, but even so its still a class act. A treasure trove.
This is a fantastic deck, one I'd put in the same bin as other "hybrid" Marseilles-ish/RWS-ish decks like The Radiant Tarot and The Rose Tarot (both of which are also fantastic). It's easily one of my favourite deck releases this year.
These look really lovely, it looks like indie quality. I like that they are larger cards and the artwork is wonderful and hooray! A pip deck with keywords 😍 I love all the different feathers for each card, this might go on my wish list 😆 oh and you have the Dreams of Gaia Tarot, that is Blue Angel 😍❤️
Stunning deck, I love the colour only being on the feathers. I don’t think I’ll get this deck because the cards look huge and I’m just a teeny tiny human being but that’s such a beautiful deck. We’re very spoiled lately by Mass Market decks. Thanks for the flipthrough Simon 🥰
This is so beautiful! The only thing I don't like are the keywords, as they do not fit my Marsielle-reading style. But the idea with the feathers is so beautiful, and I like that they tell you which birds they are from.
The keywords are going to be a huge bother. But trimming is not a solve because of the edging and the back design going nearly to the edge. I would love to see a second edition without keywords. If I get this, I’d be inspired to write over the keywords with my own.
Lovely art, but I feel the large feathers just seem stuck into the art in most cases which bothers me, like they added them as a gimmick. In some, like the Tower or Queen of Wands, they seem more integral. Without the feathers I'd probably get the deck because it's beautiful. Thanks for sharing it.
Oh, but in the case of this tarot, feathers are such a clever and special feature, which were a big part of Alejandro's vision for this beautiful tarot.. my bother here is the publisher's decisions, Nancy..
@@musingsbymascha But my issue isn't with feathers, it's with how awkwardly the artist has placed them--they are too large, too intrusive for me. But as my grandmother used to say, that's what makes horse races (meaning people back different things!). 😘
I'm actually liking this deck. I don't know how this would work buying it from there since I'm across the pond (US). I'm going to try soon though. I usually don't like decks that end with the Kind of Swords but I seem to like this deck and want it. It seems to have totally different meanings for the cards. I will leave in all the cards because I feel like the deck will give you what you need regardless of which one of the double cards is in there. Question for you: I noticed you used a seam ripper to open the wrapping. Do you also sew?
I don’t have this deck yet but I noticed in watching another walkthrough of it that the keywords align with Yoav Ben Dov’s book, The Marseille Tarot Revealed. From my understanding they’re the “standard” meanings for most Marseille style decks…I’ve only been studying marseille for about a year or two though so I’m by no means an expert!

Well, if they didn’t listen to the creators at the time, I’m sure they’re not listening now 😞
Oh yeah, this artwork is right up my street. I’m so excited to get this. Thanks for the review Simon 😊
Hope you enjoy it! 😍
Not usually into pip decks, but the keys words on the pips and the lovely major cards have piqued my interest ❤
Glad you like them! I think it’s great that there’s a pip deck that assists with making a connection by having keywords. 😍
Wow. I am blown away. It's been a while since I've been this impressed by a deck. I will definitely be getting this one as soon as I can.
Hope you enjoy it! 😍
What a beautiful video and lovely deck! The background music is so enchanting and sets the scene for the coziness of this video! Bravo! 💛⭐🌙🌞🌻
Thank you so much! ☺️

I agree, Adam and can see why you’ve connected with it already!
Wow !! GORGEOUS DECK - thank you Simon ❤
You’re welcome ☺️

That’s true!
NGL I had you in mind when I mentioned the keywords on pips 😝
@@the_hermits_cave 😆 I thought you might have! Xx

I never had you down as being teeny tiny. It’s funny how we come across on screen!
@@the_hermits_cave Hahaha 🤣 that’s so funny. Maybe one day we’ll meet and you’ll see how tiny I am ☺️.
@starseedtarot1111 it’s bound to happen one day!
Thank you for sharing…. Wonderful deck!😊
You are so welcome!
only issue to me are key words
i reaaally dont like them, but gosh, this is gorgeous

Yeah, the keywords were not meant to be from what I know.. it was a publisher's decision sadly..

Beautiful deck!

I agree
I feel the same about it.
