Bruh theirs a bunch of players whom are always angry , tired , lazy and who don’t show any emotions we need more players him like seriously baseball is about making it exciting making it look great and awesome to be around not a league where players don’t wanna play or show emotions
I don't watch baseball although o did subscribe to the MLB you tube channel to try. Question. Why is he doing a interview while playing during the game? If he drops a catch or something won't the fans be unhappy. He can't be fully focused on the game as you can see.
it's something new the mlb has been trying recently to help with viewer engagement and stuff. they only do it for 1 player a week during the national broadcast and they do it during the 2nd inning where the stakes usually aren't very high. and you'll notice that once the bases were loaded here - and the stakes became higher - the announcers mostly stopped talking to him and he didn't really say anything so he could focus on the game.
@@intdawg I suppose that's why nobody's actually *required* to do it. It seems like guys will only do it if they think it won't distract them too much. And a lot of it seems to be just the banter they'd normally engage in on the field or in the dugout with their teammates, only now it's with a mic so we can hear it (and presumably toned down to G-rated since they know the guy is mic'd up and the audience can hear).
I wonder what DHs do in the dugout when their team is on defense cuz it could be really funny. Or a starter who is not pitching that day cuz we all know starting pitchers throw seeds at targets during the game
I'm a traditionalist. I hate these in game interviews. I actually turned from the broadcast because I'd want my team focused on defeating the opponent, not granting an all access pass to the media and us fans. When is it too much?
i agree they should be focused but i also know that players have to deal with fans screaming at them every game and they seem to do just fine (the incident with myles straw and yankees fans aside) granted they don’t have to reply to them like these segments, but i feel like they can tune the q&a session out/give bs answers to stay focused.
@@mikaelag4109 I just think we as fans want too much access sometimes and that has led to these changes that I don't care for. I'm perfectly fine waiting on the post game presser - win or lose.

Only in Baseball...

I remember seeing Ozzie and Acuna playing in person in the minors cool experience
Someone needs to nominate Brandon Belt he would be amazing for this
Ozzy is my favorite Braves player he is awesome
Every team needs to do this
That is awesome insight to the game i love this.
This makes baseball a lot more fun to watch
Favourite player getting mic'd up against favourite team ish.

Super interesting. Keep these videos coming.
This is really cool
This is great. It’s fascinating. And if I were a player I would never do it, outside of spring training.
I agree with Dale
8:57 when did David Cone become an announcer for ESPN is he still doing YES?

Ozzy Albis casi no se mienta pero es un gra pelotero una estrella
Go braves
It's really too bad that Network TV does not air more games...
Snitker will definitely blow this game by pitching YNOA Doggers 8 bravos 1 and bravos use 6 pitchers doggers 3 pitchers

It’s one of the risks you take to get more personality and fun into the sport

Silly. Mic’d up while playing is ok. But not for an interview that could be done at any other time. Silly.
Need a Spanish speaking player mic up. I know Ozzie is bilingual I mean a player that can't only say yeah in english
dude what is your problem
Espanol is America's second language!
There have been several.
Can't wait for Bryce harper interview.
Something nobody else wants lol.

Bryce Harper nominate your teammate Kyle schwarber that’ll be funny and awesome to hear or what does Kyle does in the game
