@@viviertravels I wouldn’t visit new haven right now , there is currently a gang war going on . Many many many shootings and crime spree , Carjackings, robberies , assaults. Do your research, we have 5 homicides this year already .
I was just down near the green for jury duty last week now I don't have to go there for another 3 years. When you went by Longwharf on 95 before 91, where were all the food trucks?
Had our car stolen from the Temple Street Garage February 2023- the city, who is the owner of the garage was not too interested re insurance, video etc. No calls returned. That visit cost us $10,000. . Would not recommend a visit! Crime ridden!
I have lived in CT my whole life and hate the city's. I was born and raised up in BPT untill the service and got out of there. I just had jury duty in NH. I'm glade I'm good now for another 3 years now.
I programed my GPS connected to my car so that if I get within 5 miles of a sanctuary City it starts to beep. Within 3 Miles it shuts down. Gives me 10 minutes to think about it and turn around. So far I have not been carjacked, raped, or robbed. Seems to be working out okay

After 36 years in New Haven I moved to Maine, now after 28 years in Maine I'm moving back to New Haven in the spring of 2024 to be with family.

New Haven is a nice city for tourists, and some residents. But not for most residents.
