Hey Stan! It's important for us to differentiate Rim Guard's Beet Juice Tire Ballast to what is put on the roads. Our product has no mixture with any salt / chloride product, and it's natural attributes offer freeze protection and non-corrosive properties to make it optimal for use as a liquid tire ballast. The road de-icer your friend James is describing contains beet juice molasses that is combined with various chlorides to make a brine when applied to roads. As always, thanks for your honesty and sharing information!

Must really suck having so many different brands one you don't get as good of deals at dealers or service cause you don't buy enough from one for them to do that and then me personally and alot of others biggest pet peave is maintenance is that you have to go around to so many different dealers for parts and then can't stock things as easy either I get you get deals because RUclips but business wise makes absolutely no sense

I live in Central WI and to my knowledge no beat juice is used, only salt brine. And rock salt.

Some Finnish engineering in those tires. Hakkapeliitta is a term that comes from a Finnish soldier riding a horse in the 30year war in the Swedish army. Also there is a link to a war cry used in the Finnish winter war with Russia which went "Hakkaa päälle pohjanpoika". Literal translation is "beat on, son of north", but a better translation would probably be 'soldier on' or something. Nokia Tyres is the company that engineered and manufactures those tires.

Beat Juice on the roads is called Fusion.. It is way better ten brine and you can pre wet your roads and parking lots up to 7 days before a storm.. Where I worked they tried brine and that was crap. Big waste of money. They tried fusion but it was real messy and people wanted their cars washed because they had to see what was being sprayed on the road even when the truck had a sign saying stay back 100 feet.. What they end up using was a rock salt that was coated with Beet Juice and that was way better than brine. It was way cheaper then Fusion and you can put it down with just a spreader. You could still pre wet your roads or parking lots.. Pre wetting doesn't allow the snow to stick to the roads there for. you used way less product.. It also had the advantage that in snow the salt would activate immediately plus work at a way low temperature then brine.

The snow tires definitely should make a difference compared to dirt tires..

To me I would think those tires are better just from the pure fact of more contact points on the ground at once.

I have a case 321f and run chains. I’m in the eastern Sierra mountains and I can’t risk sliding sideways into a Tesla or a condo building. When it’s warmer and slushy I can run without chains. I love the tall skinny tires, lots of psi for traction with the stock tires, but I’m expecting those snow tires will show 50% more traction. I’ll be putting beet juice in my tires next fall so I get another 900 lbs on the machine. Let me know if you have any questions about the machine, It been excellent for us. Only issue is there are crappy factory metal hose clamps on the hoses going to the heater core. They start leaking coolant after the machine has been running at operating temp for over an hour.

Stan, I use a 150 hp fwa tractor to pull a 2600 gallon vacuum trailer with water. Winter months the factory farm tires were worthless in packed snow. We switched to a complete set of these Finnish tires that look like yours. The tractor is unbelievable now in slippery conditions.
