Good review! I've had this pedal for about a year now and am still very happy with it. I've used it in several song recordings with the audio out of the GE100 going into a mixer which then connects to my workstation DAW via USB. I have about 15 presets that I have set up the way I like and it works well. I'd say it is hard to beat this pedal for the price. You can play around with the presets and get whatever tone you want out of this thing like you showed in your video. I don't use the drum machine but I use the 2 button looper quite a bit. Overall, it is a great buy in my opinion.

Hi. Not sure if you're able to help. But when I loop, the drums record really quietly. So I'll record my first layer (drums and rhythm guitar). But when I want to dub Lead Guitar over the top, I cant hear the drums at all. Any advice please?
Nux deliver the pedal with all the user patches already filled with data. You can over-write these patches. I suggest creating a basic sound that you like, then copy it to the first ten patches (U01 through to U10) and then edit each one as your mood changes. This will give all your patches a nice consistency. You can also rename them.
There is no master switch on it. Disconnecting the power won't harm it, but I prefer to use the switch on the wall. So when it's off the power adapter won't sit there all hot, just wasting power :) Gearfacts
You can do it either way, but generally it's for people with small, basic kits who are just running it before the amp. I'll be doing a new and better-quality review of this one in the next few days :) #gearfacts

haha awesome comment - your rambling style is refreshingly rock and roll :) To answer your main question - yeah it's pretty well-made. I think the fact that the parts are so small kind of increases its physical durability. It'd give the pedal-chain people a good laugh :)
I found it to be quite noisy. I'm a bit concerned about the hum you are getting though. Maybe try a few different power sockets, battery power, different cables, change the angle of the unit in relation to other machines in the house. Hum is usually caused by some kind of interference in power flow.
@@laceibagroove aha! Glad you found a solution. The power supply you have might be fine, it's more likely that the noise is coming from somewhere in you home's power and there's not really anything you can do about that.

So, our household is still very new to guitar.... i have been looking into some pedal options for a while now, as we are still beginners and cant justify a big expensive pedal board or a Headrush or something.... Would you say this is a good buy for a beginner pedal to start experimenting, as opposed to just a single stompbox drive or effect? I think it would be a great learning tool and help us progress while learning what kind of pedals we would even enjoy...
Yes, for a beginner (especially one a realistic as you are about where you're at!) I think this pedal provides a really good education, and it's pretty easy to operate. It's sound isn't superlative, but it's certainly not a dud either. Let me know what you end up getting! :) Gearfacts
I got one recently. It is a great learning tool. Sound quality decent. It would cost alot of money to buy each effects pedal. This has everything you will ever need in one unit is the beauty of it. It takes time and patience to dial in and save your sounds but I feel it's worth it.
@@davidkastin4240 , thanks for the input.... i think there are some good sides to the multi effects, one power cord, saving those sounds once you get them dialed in, and then being able to make something totally different and save that.... Taking time to find the sound you're looking for will also be the case for regular pedals, and then you can only turn them on and off, or have to remember what combination of things turned on and settings on each made it sound right for a specific song , and it isn't as easy to just recall a sound from the presets....the presets would have to be in your head.... A plus to that is possibly a different kind of learning, or more learning happening, with traditional pedals.... For the price of a decent tuner, one drive(I'd probably want 2-3), a reverb and delay, and a power supply, I'd be over the cost of the Mooer GE200, and close to the cost of a Headrush Gigboard.... and that would only be a start for traditional pedals.... I now have to decide, get a Mooer,.... OR , keep playing with the 4 savable presets and the sounds available in my Marshall, and save for a Headrush unit and then a better amp....
I git both. The Zoom is the supieror pedal for the simple fact they have an PC editor for customizing patches and loading up diffrent effects and IR Cabinets. There is also a huge amount of user created patches to upload. I use the Mooer for a few of my synths and keyboards to add a little ambience and attitude
Budget guitar gear=don't eat for two weeks. Get into debt and have your door smashed in by crown court debt collectors. Then write a song while you're homeless. About budget guitar gear.
Yeah, that's the way to do it. You can skip from your clean patch over to a distortion patch, definitely. I thought you meant changing the sound without changing the patch number.
Ok, you create the clean patch the way you like it, then copy it to the next location. In that second location, you add the distortion and any other effects you need (delay etc). Then you have two similar patches side by side with nicely balanced volume and the right changes. Simple :)
I'd make two identical copies of your patch, then add distortion to one of them and save it like that. Then you can switch between the two freely, one with distortion and one without :) Gearfacts
He means to make the clean sound, save it into a slot, say slot 10....then create the distorted or driven sound, and save it to slot 11... then as you're playing you can swap back and forth with the up/down toe switches.... Another example, 3 stored patches, all identical except one had some delay for an intro, the other is with out delay, and the 3rd has a touch more volume for lead/solo.... store them all together in the patches, and you have 3 sounds for the parts of one song.... with some planning, you could set it up to play through a good number of songs in this fashion....

Maybe your pedal is set to another function that's why. 😂 🤣 In my nux mfx10 I had to long press the volume pedal to activate special function such as wah. Then deactivate again to go back to volume pedal
You can save and group them, but the only way to 'categorize' them would be to give them similar names or numbers e.g. slots 1-20 are just for cleans, 21-50 for crunch, 50- for distortion etc

If the two switches move up, and down through the effects, how do you turn it off and go into bypass without a third button?
You press the two switches at the same time :) GF
Gearfacts I thought that was how you get into tuner mode?
Sir ,is there any looper avilable?
Yep
Why do i have dyn clean when i set mine to U01?
I'm total beginner sorry
Nux deliver the pedal with all the user patches already filled with data. You can over-write these patches. I suggest creating a basic sound that you like, then copy it to the first ten patches (U01 through to U10) and then edit each one as your mood changes. This will give all your patches a nice consistency. You can also rename them.
Please help me. Is there a proper way to turn it off? Or just unplug it with the power source?
There is no master switch on it. Disconnecting the power won't harm it, but I prefer to use the switch on the wall. So when it's off the power adapter won't sit there all hot, just wasting power :) Gearfacts
So the on/off printed on the right patch/stomp has no function at all?
I think that's to turn the expression pedal on and off in certain modes.
Ohh yes, right. Thanks! 👍
Dexter Sapida there's no
Does this go before the amp or through the effects loop?
You can do it either way, but generally it's for people with small, basic kits who are just running it before the amp. I'll be doing a new and better-quality review of this one in the next few days :) #gearfacts
Gearfacts thank you so much!

Thanks also for answering all those questions and looking things up for people all the time. This particular review wasn’t all that helpful for me though, so I was wondering if you could redo it with these specific changes [list of concerns here, instead of zero information to help me understand what you want]. I also understand that you don’t actually owe me anything so I’ll also express thanks in advance for the redo. Sir my mooer ge 100 produce noise sound whyyy when i on my metal effect some noise produces wht is the reason does ur pedal produces so much noise
Sounds like you need to activate the noise reduction effect. Also if you use the Fuzz effect for distortion - it's a less noisy form of distortion. Hope that helps :) GF

haha awesome comment - your rambling style is refreshingly rock and roll :) To answer your main question - yeah it's pretty well-made. I think the fact that the parts are so small kind of increases its physical durability. It'd give the pedal-chain people a good laugh :)
how to get a true bypass on mooer ge100 sir?
If you press both foot switches together I think it gives a bypassed signal.
I actually tried change it to bypass but still not working and This is also my only problem to this product
Just got one, I liked it, but it's quite noisy and lots of humming comes out of it, is that normal for this, or should I return it?
I found it to be quite noisy. I'm a bit concerned about the hum you are getting though. Maybe try a few different power sockets, battery power, different cables, change the angle of the unit in relation to other machines in the house. Hum is usually caused by some kind of interference in power flow.
@@gearfacts Thanks so much, it must be some current-power issues as you pointed out... I tried the batteries on, and all hum went away.. thanks.
@@laceibagroove aha! Glad you found a solution. The power supply you have might be fine, it's more likely that the noise is coming from somewhere in you home's power and there's not really anything you can do about that.

are some of the effects in stereo? is the output on that pedal a stereo output?
Yeah it has a few stereo effects, panning, ping-pong delay etc
I am really confused between mooer ge 100 and zoom g1x four.... Can you please help me which one is better?
I git both. The Zoom is the supieror pedal for the simple fact they have an PC editor for customizing patches and loading up diffrent effects and IR Cabinets. There is also a huge amount of user created patches to upload. I use the Mooer for a few of my synths and keyboards to add a little ambience and attitude
Nice review, I got this for 57 USD Black Friday deal
Decent gear is getting so cheap now, it's great :)
Budget guitar gear=don't eat for two weeks. Get into debt and have your door smashed in by crown court debt collectors. Then write a song while you're homeless. About budget guitar gear.
Isn't it expensive gear that starts off that process?
Dunno, I'm writing a song about it.
This Mooer sux. No programming information. Loop undo ? Nice report though, thanks
H! Just wanna ask. How do go around the other patches without sounding every patch you run into?
Press and hold the up or down button in and it speeds through the patches
Cannot assign the pedal as a delay. .not in the selection. .tsk😫😡😬
Can i go clean first and then go to distortion without playing any other effects?
You'd have to switch between two patches to do that. You can't add distortion with the expression pedal alone.
So you mean i cant skip other patches? For example im gonna play smells like teen spirit, it goes clean and then distortion right?
Yeah, that's the way to do it. You can skip from your clean patch over to a distortion patch, definitely. I thought you meant changing the sound without changing the patch number.
How am i going to do that?
Ok, you create the clean patch the way you like it, then copy it to the next location. In that second location, you add the distortion and any other effects you need (delay etc). Then you have two similar patches side by side with nicely balanced volume and the right changes. Simple :)
How can you switch it from Distorted Sound to Clean by a single tap? that's my struggle with it lol
I'd make two identical copies of your patch, then add distortion to one of them and save it like that. Then you can switch between the two freely, one with distortion and one without :) Gearfacts
@@gearfacts It's still sounds complicated for me though are u suggesting to connect my GE 100 to a BOSS single pedal distortion?
He means to make the clean sound, save it into a slot, say slot 10....then create the distorted or driven sound, and save it to slot 11... then as you're playing you can swap back and forth with the up/down toe switches....
Another example, 3 stored patches, all identical except one had some delay for an intro, the other is with out delay, and the 3rd has a touch more volume for lead/solo.... store them all together in the patches, and you have 3 sounds for the parts of one song.... with some planning, you could set it up to play through a good number of songs in this fashion....

Hi. Can I save multiple effects together and group them and give them a name or profile? So that i can save "profiles" for each song
You can save and group them, but the only way to 'categorize' them would be to give them similar names or numbers e.g. slots 1-20 are just for cleans, 21-50 for crunch, 50- for distortion etc
