It's funny because it's true. We dress leadership up as glamorous and empowering. But in reality it's about taking risks, and, ipso-facto, risking disastrous consequences. It is the opposite of 'a safe place '. Most people, irrespective of gender, are just not willing to take this on.
The thing is, those countries can have female leaders because they are not that important. For the biggest, strongest, most powerful, most important country in the world technologically, financially, geopolitically... yeah... we need to be run by a man.
