My brother in law who just started college randomly asked me for scriptures dealing with anxiety and I sent him this. He shows no signs of being regenerated so for him to ask me this is giving me hope God is starting to work in him
Anybody else prefer that the Bible app (you version) would let you highlight individual words? When I was a new Christian, I loved pointing out and underlining separate words and phrases. But since using the Bible app, I don't spend time reading and highlighting like that anymore. I think I need to start reading my physical Bible so that I have no limits on what I can underline :)

Thankful prayers are also the way to battle forgetfulness and absentmindedness, which can also cause anxiety. "Did I remember to take my medicine? Yes. I remember because I prayed and thanked God for it." "Did I pray for my wife today? Yes. I remember because I thanked God for her." Did I send the mortgage check in? Oh yes. I remember because I thanked God for providing it." And so on...
It's actually the generation after them. And they're anxious over NOTHING! These spoiled brats don't know what life is like even without internet. And yet they're everywhere with their "support animals" and made up ailments and allergies to everything and "anxiety" and blah, blah, blah.How are they going to work a job?! Grow up!
Mr. C I have to share my experience with you. I got corrected by God. I had a stroke about a week ago..in the thalmas part of my brain..which is interesting..because the thalmas is the "governing center" of ones brain. I am partially paralyzed and numb..and in great misery. God left me just enough function that i can take care of essentials with help of my daughter. Anyway..this is what He taught me since I am down. We can Do Nothing to be Saved or Healed. Reading the bible..listening to pastors..going to church..obeying commandments. Nothing! He is the One Who Saves and Heals. People who romp atam mardes are wasting the their breath. He will be saved by God when God decides. I needed to change my thinking and God had a hard time getting my attention! Are you Healed this way too? Paul's healing was right..God Came and Changed him!
kathleen Wharton I too have endured considerable discipline....chastising if you will...over the years. Mine hasn’t been physical. My realizations of truth have come through the battle for the mind. Nothing is more paralyzing than a mind that won’t allow one to sleep, relax, or even enjoy a good meal with my family. My five grandchildren are my guides...like a barometer. They sense when I’m “off” and they have no reservations about telling me. Thank God for them! I guess that’s why we are to become like them. Needless to say, my awareness of the power of weakness in me has matured to the point where I can relate to anything and anyone and profit from them. My hope is that there are those who can profit from me. God bless you greatly!
Mr. C I have profited from you..i relate to you. I have had anxiety all my life..but when I was 47 I had a TIA and it turned into severe Panic anxiety disorder with migraine. Life was over as I knew it! I was disabled. I could get no rest. I had to take benzos for years just to function and get a little rest. God took me out of church..took the titled men out of my life and Helped me read the bible. He is finishing me now. I am to "sit in His Presense" and Surrender Everything to Him. This has been easier with the stroke since I can do nothing else! God brought me one man on RUclips..Eric Gilmour..who talks about this kind of worship..so I know I am not alone. I am so glad you have a Good family. My grandchildren just accept me no matter what so they have been that much help. I am to worship God the way God taught me and forgive all those who tell me i am wrong and I will get well. May God Bless YouToo!
Pastor John, dear brother. Can you do a video on this verse: "From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force." (Matthew 11: 12) ESV. What does it mean? Thanks and God bless you. Amen
At that time, the law and the prophets established the kingdom through force. All believers were waiting for a messiah to end the violence. No one knew what a kingdom void of violence even looked like nor how it worked. Even John didn’t know who or what to expect from this “new” kingdom, he simply knew by the spirit that something powerful was coming.
Anxiety is Gods Way of telling you something is wrong. I have great anxiety when I listen to Men tell me what God Wants me to Do and Who God wants me to Be. I am to Sit in Communion and Surrender to God Alone as He Gives me direct personal revelation. Jesus is the Only One who knows what is Right for me. No man has the Right to take His Place.
When Jesus Says "Come to Me and I will give you rest.". He means Just that! Stop going EveryWhere else! Books and churches and Men who give you their opinions. Jesus Gives you direct personal revelation for your own life. He is the Only One who knows what is Right for you. Then you can rest.
Let us all be humble and grateful to our father god.

I'd say it's probably too early to say that is the case for the generation after millennials as they are too young.

Millennials are in their 30s. I'm talking about whatever the group is that are in their 20s/later teens right now.
Hence my view that they're too young. It seems many young people have/will suffer this because they've forgotten the LORD
