It happened to me with some strong preworkouts as well, so i usually stay below 200mg at a time, and then im fine.
Vitamine B6 which is often also found in energy drinks can cause severe nerve damage if taken too much for too long. In my case it was due to supplemantion, symtomps are: loss of motor skills, loss of sensation/numbness, aniexity, panic attacks, sweating, and a lot of other possiblle symptoms. Sadly enough the symptoms are often overlooked and misdiagnosed. I have done some of my own research and from what I have found it is some pretty scary stuff. I dont want to share my findings because it seems that there still hasnt been much research done on it and i dont want to share any wrong information but I would like to encourage people to be cautious.
Were you taking the P5P version or the pyridoxine? There is many forms of vitamin b6 out there a lot of generic supplements use the crappy version that your body can’t absorb.
When I was 18, I started taking NO-Xplode pre-workout. I felt amazing and I had an enormous amount of energy. I would workout for 3 hours and not want to leave. Realistically, I went from no caffeine to a huge amount. It stopped working once I developed a tolerance.
IIRC the reason Monster Java 300 is still legal in Canada is it isn't an "energy drink", it's a "coffee beverage" which isn't regulated the same way. Energy drinks over 180mg are indeed banned, though.
@@ZachMcIntyre-c5oLet's not take notes the government doesn't have to babysit people. If somebody wants to make an energy drink with 400mg of caffeine they should be allowed to do it as long as the risk and amount are clearly labeled.
Hi Will, i know its not your area but ill ask anyway. Love your channel, i was hoping you could do a day in the life video of an office job sitting at home from 9-5, then use a standing desk and do another day 9-5. (with or without under desk treadmill). It would be interesting to get your thoughts on how to be more active in a more sedentary office job. I know you have done other videos in the past of such things but curious if you would ever do this
Realizing after your workout that you didn't have music going is wild. The number of times I've been that distracted (inside the gym or out) I think I could count on one hand.
I love spike. Well used to. Haven't had it in a while. Started drinking it because I built up a nauseating strong caffeine tolerance to the point 3 and 4 red bulls didn't do jack for me.
My theory about the panera lemonade is they mixed the ingredients at some kind of distribution facility and after shipping the ingredients could have seperated while dry, causing some batches to have way higher caffine than others
Also depends on what you do. If you e.g. chug an entire monster before marching with 40kg on your back through heat in summer for hours, then chances are good that you end up in hospital. And with them being refillable I'd not doubt that people just chugged them and then refilled them as well. These 2 alone already give you extra theories on what happened. Same as people often drink energy drinks before workout and then wonder why they either feel extremely sick half way through or straight up wake up in hospital again - there's reasons as to why Red Bull isn't allowed to associate with sports anymore in their adverts in some countries. e.g. in Germany they also write to not mix energy drinks with alcohol (for the obvious reason of.. you know, it being even worse on your heart), not that people care about it too much - but there's often more to it than just "they drank it and then enjoyed their day in front of their tv" to occuring issues.
It's pretty insane how will consistently makes videos that are funny, informative and different. He deserves a million views every video. God bless you will. Haven't missed a video since I found the channel 8 months ago and I've watched ALL your vids lol 🦍💪🏻
Nah not really, I don't know if I'm just really desensitised to caffeine, but I can pretty easily get by drinking 2 cans of monster + coffee in the morning and function pretty fine (400mg+)
As a caffeine addict and energy drink enjoyer, 300mg of caffeine per can is the limit. I like a monster or Celsius between 160-200. Occasionally a reign when I’m feeling spicy (300mg).
Wow it is scary how one beverage, and not even one with an age limit or with alcohol could affect someone so immediately and to this level!! Way to educate. I don’t really ever drink energy drinks but if someone had heart problems they could definitively overwork their hearts!

Would you care to share why B vitamins are added to energy drinks in general?
The huge doses mentioned throughout this video piqued my interest
@@tappajaavbecause it converts proteins and fat into energy. So a high dose of b12 gives you a ton of energy

@@hako3953 Thanks
Subbed! Love it when people experiment using their body! This was great!.
This is Will's white collar crime
When I was 18, I started taking NO-Xplode pre-workout. I felt amazing and I had an enormous amount of energy. I would workout for 3 hours and not want to leave. Realistically, I went from no caffeine to a huge amount. It stopped working once I developed a tolerance.
IIRC the reason Monster Java 300 is still legal in Canada is it isn't an "energy drink", it's a "coffee beverage" which isn't regulated the same way. Energy drinks over 180mg are indeed banned, though.
??? There's plenty of energy drinks on the clear market over 180mg....
Nevermind... I just got to the part of the video saying that's Canada's regulation lol, I'm in USA
Either way, USA needs to take notes per usual... Coming from a reformed high stimulant addict.😂
I live in Canada and I was confused at all the people saying certain beverages were crazy then I learned they're formulated differently here
@@ZachMcIntyre-c5oLet's not take notes the government doesn't have to babysit people.
Damn that happens to me often
Legit psychotic working out in silence
That's my normal. The "I'm really distracted" is when I put the headphones on and forget to turn on the music
I really dig the calming vibe of Wills videos. Puts me in zen
"I wanted to wrestle him, turns out it was my own shadow" had me rolling 😂

This video gave me anxiety. Reminded me of my panic attacks from smoking weed. Was heart neurotic for 2 years after that and only recently got better.
dang from weed that's rough. It only clams me. Im sorry.
That’s why I stopped smoking sativa strains , shit has my anxiety going through the roof, indica chills me
Spike is absolutely insane, like that pantless intro, they still sell it at gas station near me lmao.
They sell the pantless intro at a gas station?
Must be florida
I love spike deep in prep lol the only time I wake up really, Will completely missed the key ingredient which is yohimbine hcl
They sell spike in MN at almost all Holidays and Speedways (7-11s)
I love spike. Well used to. Haven't had it in a while. Started drinking it because I built up a nauseating strong caffeine tolerance to the point 3 and 4 red bulls didn't do jack for me.
The best youtuber.. funny, charming, informative by taking risks for us and has labrador energy😂
Doing tricks on it
"I feel happy now, that´s not good" 🤣
My theory about the panera lemonade is they mixed the ingredients at some kind of distribution facility and after shipping the ingredients could have seperated while dry, causing some batches to have way higher caffine than others
This guy is hilarious! Love the video 😂
Not the heavy breathing at the bathroom break heart PR 😂😂
It's pretty insane how will consistently makes videos that are funny, informative and different. He deserves a million views every video. God bless you will. Haven't missed a video since I found the channel 8 months ago and I've watched ALL your vids lol 🦍💪🏻
1:15 350 is crazy for 1 serving
350 caffeine isnt too bad, i take pre workout that has 330 but it shouldnt be sold as a drink alot of kids dont even look at the caffeine ammount
there's monster 300mg coffee
ngl bro I've had like 450 in one serving once
Nah not really, I don't know if I'm just really desensitised to caffeine, but I can pretty easily get by drinking 2 cans of monster + coffee in the morning and function pretty fine (400mg+)
Almost 2 celsius 😢😢😢😢
Man I don't consume like any fitness content besides occasional strongman videos but this guy is uber entertaining +1 sub
Bro put his life on the line for content. Respect
That's stupid.
Thats dumb
Life on the line for drinking one energy drink a day lmao. Fear mongering much?

this guy was having a panic attack at the gym, never again my guy
My hearts beating fast just watching this!!
Bros doing everything love your content and channel
I’m a big fan and love your vids so thanks for the heart
As a caffeine addict and energy drink enjoyer, 300mg of caffeine per can is the limit. I like a monster or Celsius between 160-200. Occasionally a reign when I’m feeling spicy (300mg).
I can drink a reign and take a nap
I love my bangs
@@C420sailor mix alcohol in it.

Wow it is scary how one beverage, and not even one with an age limit or with alcohol could affect someone so immediately and to this level!! Way to educate. I don’t really ever drink energy drinks but if someone had heart problems they could definitively overwork their hearts!
In the uk you have to be 16 to buy energy drinks

It’s 180mg per 500ml.
A bigger bottle can have more. It’s a safety. I wrote a thesis on caffeine and it’s effect.

Bragging about having a crippling caffeine addiction is something I just don't understand, yet, I hear all the time.
