BattleTech in Japan 1

I came across this on Nicovideo. It's a segment from a video series titled "VR仮想現実遊戯" (although I'm not sure entirely if that's the title) and they feature BattleTech on there twice. It shows the pods being installed in Yokohama as well as an interview with Ross Babcock III about the game and some footage. The Yokohama location is now gone, sadly, but I heard there was a group that obtained Tesla II pods in Tokyo.

The Nicovideo link goes on a bit longer, showing someone writing a press release or something, and translating from the English player's guide. It has the hilarious translation of BattleTech Center into Batorutekku Sentaa.

Way ahead of its time, verson 1 battletech. The Tesla II used advanced aircraft trainer optics.There is a set for sale on ebay. see Arcade Tesla II Cockpit SimulatorsWas at Yokohama about 4 years ago. Sadly, couldn't find any sign of them.
