In my opinion a good pair of monitors are a must since your at a great disadvantage if you are collaborating and don’t have them. Other than that I agree, but he dosent seem to have an expensive studio just a mid ranged iMac a good interface , a pair of $600 speakers and a mixer nothing special. His studio is also acoustically treated in a budget, Ive seen people going as far as putting plexi glass on the floor and buying a $3000 door. Yes a door for $3000. I think this guy has a good mid ranged semi professional studio. Which probably cost him $2000.
Why’s everyone hating and calling this studio expensive and unnecessary looooool. My mans got a pair of rokits and a cheap iMac. A mid ranged audio interface and a good overall design. The speakers are lined up perfectly and the mixer is just a nice add on. I see this as an avrg bedroom studio.
