Yugi didn't have slifer yet
How Yugi won, he used Chained Destruction when the hunter played the Head of Exodia on the field. It destroyed the other two in his deck and hand.
Plus he had to have Light of Intervention so that the Exodia piece had to be normal summoned in face-up defense instead of set. The one time they focus on a reason for not setting monsters in the anime and it really mattered.
I remember as a kid trying that. So much arguing over anime vs irl duels😂

@@BigGoosey69 he used both. Light force sword first to stop a full set of exodia, but wouldn’t have been able to use chain destruction if light of intervention hadn’t forced seeker to summon his exodia head face-up
Jen not using Swords then Thunderforce Attack in the last duel killed me. Pretty sure that would have been game if she did that during the Main Phase.

@@RazielTheUnborn if she used Swords to flip up all of Susu’s monsters, and used Thunderforce Attack in the main phase, she would also draw one card for each monster destroyed. That would be four more cards after spending two. So even after summoning Celtic Guardian, Slifer would have 7k. This is from her turn at around 14:00
Yeah, if she had read both cards the turn after Swords of Concealing Light was Magic Jammered, she would have ended up with a Silfer that has 8000 attack and nothing Susu could have done about it.

14:55 I think she forgot that with the swords of revealing she could reveal all your covered monsters, and then destroy them all with Thunderforce attack
Susu's luck in this video was unbelievable. If the villains in Yugioh were as lucky as Susu, Yugioh would've ended after the first season.

She actually could have won. If instead of playing Celtic Guardian she played Swords of Revealing light, she'd have flipped all 4 face downs. Then she could have played Thunderforce attack. All four monsters would have been destroyed, she'd draw 4 cards, and Slifer would have gone to 9000 atk
I actually think using magic jammer on swords of revealing light is better than using it on Pot of Greed in this duel specifically since you actually get to draw 3 cards over the course of each turn instead of just 2 extra cards, so Jen actually got good use of it. I do think she could have won last game too if she used swords of revealing light to force all of Susu's cards to be face up and then used thunderforce attack to destroy all face up cards on the field and draw 3 more cards, making Slifers attack 7,000 and that would have been enough to finish off his last bit of life points. But overall really entertaining duel to watch! Keep up the great content!
Yes she would have won if she did that, but to be fair Swords' flipping effect is an easy effect to forget.

Yugi didn't have Sliffer just yet cause this was his first duel in Battle City. He stalled the rare hunter by using Lightforce Sword and then Chain Destruction.

Jen misplaced badly at the end. If she played Sword of revealing light, it would force all face down card to be revealed and active Slifer ability and clear the field. She could have won.
I don't think that would work .even if they are changed to face up defense by the effect of swords of revealing light it wouldn't trigger slifers ability to destroy all face up monsters.. unless you play thunder force attack spell which would give her the bonus attack points to win yes we all misread our cards 😢

13:56 like a few others said, you had game Gengen. Playing your swords of revealing light would flip all Susu's cards to then you use Thunder Force Attack! While still on your main phase 1 that's GG to Susu if you did that. No matter the player, always read your cards :D because even just one detail can win or lose you the duel.

The rare hunter had too many exodia cards in hand and had to summon exodias head and yugi used chain destruction to destroy the rest of the head pieces in his hand and deck.

To answer the question on how Yugi beat this Rare Hunter. Yugi used Lightforce Sword to banish one of his Exodia pieces as a stall tactic, he then used Chain Destruction to destroy the Exodia piece that was played to destroy all the ones in his hand and deck to render all 3 of the duplicates useless. With one of the five pieces impossible to have in hand, the Rare Hunter was unable to play Exodia, and Yugi finished off his life points. Also this took place before Yugi obtained Slifer, so the god cards had no part in it!
Her punishment is to record a duel against you using the same exodia deck but without the complete set of exodia excluding all 3 of the exodia heads from the deck during the match and try to win. Love the content from Los Angeles CA.

Seeker had lost 2 of the same pieces of exodia to the grave and then yugi hit the last piece with lightforce sword removing if from his had for 2 turns.
The he took control of the slime monster that always summons its self back when when destroyed, so slypher constantly attacked it with its special ability and that forced seeker to draw cards. It became an infinite combo causing seeker to deck out
The Slifer part wasn't in the duel against seeker. Seeker used an Exodia deck, so why would he use Slifer? He doesn't even have enough tribute fodder.
I think the punishment should be going to locals in a Dark Magician Girl outfit and she has to play magician girls
Someone probably said this already but Yugi sniped one of the exodia pieces banishing all of that card from the seekers deck i forgot what card he used to do it though.
Jen should have to play a duel wearing all her hoodies a sweatpants as punishment. XD great video guys!
Here is how the duel was going in both the Manga and the Anime.
Yugi vs Seeker
Manga
Turn 1
Yugi: Set 1 card. (Polymerization), and then Summon Gazelle 4* in attack position.
Seeker: Plays Graceful Charity, then summon Stone Statue Aztecs face up in defense position. (you can't do that in real life)
Turn 2
Yugi: Draw's Lightforce Sword (marked as a spell card in manga), then summon Berformet 4* in attack position (In real life and anime it is a 5*), then flip his down card to reveal Polymerization, and fuse both Berformet and Gazelle into Chimera, but because of the battle city rule fusion monster can't attack the turn they are summoned.
Seeker: Plays another Graceful Charity, then summon Gear Golem Moving Fortress in face up defence position.
Turn 3
Yugi: Draw's Chain Destruction, then set either Chain Destruction or Lightforce Sword on the field, then he attack Aztecs with Chimera, then set either Chain Destruction or Lightforce Sword on the field.
Seeker: During his draw phase Yugi active Lightforce Sword as a trap card even it say spell in the Manga and pin down Exodias right arm face up summoned on the field (real life card is pinned down face down outside of the field for 4 turns), and because it was face up summoned Yugi could activate Chain Destruction and Destroy Exodias right arm and all it's copies in the deck, and hand, and the field (Real life it only destroy the copies in the deck and hand), and because Seeker doesn't have any cards to help him he automatically lose.
Anime
Turn 1
Yugi: Set 2 cards face a down spell and trap (Light of Intervention and polymerization), then summon Beta The Magnet Warrior in attack position.
Seeker: Plays Graceful Charity. Yugi immediately active one of his set card it is a a trap card Light of Intervention that force all monster to be placed face up either in attack or defense position. Seeker continues his turn with summon Stone Statue Aztecs in defense position.
Turn 2
Yugi: Tribute Beta The Magnet Warrior to summon Berformet, and because Berformet was summoned he can special summon Gazelle (Real life Berformet only let a player to seek Gazelle in their deck and place it in their hand), then he reveal his other set card that is Polymerization and fuse Berformet and Gazelle into Chimera, but because the Battle City rules fusion monster can't attack the turn they are summoned, then he set a Spell/Trap card face down.
Seeker: Plays another Graceful Charity, then summon Gear Golem the Moving Fortress in defense position.
Turn 3
Yugi: Set another Spell/Trap card face down, then attack Aztecs with Chimera.
Seeker: During his Draw phase Yugi immediately active one of his face down card a Trap card Time Seal that skip opponent's next Draw phase.
Turn 4
Yugi: Draw's the Trap card Lightforce Sword and play it immediately like a spell card (You can't do that it real life), and pin down and semi banish Exodias Right arm for 3 turns, then he tribute Chimera to Summon Summoned Skull and attack Gear Golem
Seeker: Plays Sword of Revealing Light.
Turn 5
Yugi: Only Draw a card and end his turn.
Seeker: Only Draw a card and end his turn.
Turn 6
Yugi: Set a Spell/Trap card face down, and then summon Alpha The Magnet Warrior.
Seeker: Summon Exodias head face up in defense position, but because of it Yugi immediately activate one of set card Chain Destruction and destroy all the copies of Exodia head and in both the deck, and hand except on the field, then Yugi active his other set card the Trap card Dust Tornado to destroy the Sword of Revealing Light.
Turn 7
Yugi: Activate Monster Reborn to revive Chimera on to his field and attack Exodias Head with Chimera even if he could just used Alpha instead, then with MC Anime power up ability his Summoned Skull and Alpha get 200 extra attack points because they are attacking together and wins the duel, but technically Seeker should have 100 LP left. Summoned Skull attack 2500 Alpha 1400 both 3900, with anime bs Summoned Skull 2700 Alpha 1600 both 4300, if Yugi attacked Exodias head with Alpha who only has 1000 defense, then Chimera with 2100 attack and Summoned Skull with 2500 attack would together get over 4600 no need for anime MC power up.
If memory serves me correctly, he did a direct attack with one of the magnet warriors and the summon skull also life force sword the trap card
Yugi didn't even use his slifer the sky dragon until the end of the battle city tournament
She could’ve played swords of revealing light and had his monsters flipped up then play “Thunderforce Attack” and destroyed all of his faceup monsters and then free wide open attack
