I just picked this guy up today for my birthday and my god! Hasbro absolutely knocked this guy out of the park! His articulation, sculpt and detail, and accessories are insane! The drop down thigh joint is fantastic, I wanna get my hands on the Arctic Mission Stormshadow

I am stoked to get my Snake Eyes figure. He may not have precisely the look I wanted but he looks like a ton of fun to mess with and I think the look they gave him is pretty cool regardless. I can't wait to see how the rest of the wave turns out.
If this wave gets popular and will..I bet they will make like 20 different Snake Eyes. So eventually we'll all get the look we want.

Go to a local dollar store. Buy a cheap ninja and get their accessories and pretend it's for snake eyes. That's what I do for my Deadpool

Not sure how I feel about this one. The pants are throwing me off; I'm used to the sleek black armored bodysuit of the films. I would have preferred a metallic visor; it looks a bit plastic-y. However, the articulation on this figure is FANTASTIC and the fun factor seems to be out of this world. The amount of A.C.B.A photo possibilities this figure offers is incredible. And, like you said, us 1:12 collectors have been waiting for a 6 inch Snake Eyes action figure for a LONG time. So, I'll probably be picking this guy up once all this COVID-19 bullshit dies down. these new Hasbro figs are getting closer to the nice imports! I honestly wouldn't mind paying $40 for these enhanced premium figs if Hasbro went that way. It's def better than $60-$100 imports!

The two figures on the back of the weapon stand are Rāijin and Fūjin, gods of storms and wind, and are well referenced in the Japanese culture.

Looks like you really loved this figure, the pictures montage at the end was twice as long as normal.
I missed out on the pre-order as well but my concern is that they're going to do like they did with Transformers and come out with so many different variants like one with the wolf 1 in a classic body style with the original head and I don't want five and six different versions I much rather have one version with everything

I think that one thing that would really enhance the figure is if instead of the glossy paint to turn it into a matte black. Take out the shine and then you have a character who is really damn killer.

Maybe the two gods on the back on the rack represent Snake Eye´s symbols (the striped ones). Both symbols mixed represent equilibrium, one is "fire" and the other is "water".

So many comments but, I'll try to put them all here:
I don't mind that the deluxe gets a deluxe paint job. But, I still would have liked if the standard got the visor painted silver, at least! For consistency with the backside box art.
I, also have a NECA Ninja Gaiden 2 Ryu Hayabusa (at 7"). And he looks just a tad too big to fit in with this Snake Eyes. :( And Scarlett makes Ryu look like a giant?
(They're all still in their packaging, yet. I'm just trying to go by eye through the plastic.) It would have been a cool cross reality team up.
Also, why does Hasbro do such limited runs? Do they not know or, they don't care that scalpers get them and ransom them out at egregious prices? I just learned of the Baroness with a motorcycle 2-3 days ago. And it was a Target exclusive that came out short time ago. But, now only resellers on ebay have them and are price gouging.
That's all the comments I could remember by the time I got this far.
Hot take: Marvel Legends' over-reliance on reused bucks have left their articulation schemes outdated. Hasbro's been killing it with the Black Series and Lightning Collection, and definitely with this figure. They showed some promising innovations at Toy Fair, but until those are worked in across the line, Legends will be playing catch-up for the next five years.
You wouldn’t have any of that with out Marvel Legends and more importantly Dave Vonner everything would be 3.75; if anything they are talking risks with new lines and are slowly integrating them in Legends. Why? Because the community had been fighting for years for Hasbro to bring back Legends by buying the inferior Marvel Universe figures. You want to talk about “catch-up” it took Mattel loosing the license to produce DC figures to McFarland and not only out class Hasbro, but also DC Collectibles in a lot of ways no their first try. THAT’S A HOT TAKE.

There were two preorders. One that arrives in April (and sold out in an hour) and one that arrives in July (took a month)

Um actually you don’t need to remove its head you just have too raise its arm up and remove it
ok.. i just have to throw this out there, cause i cant believe many reviewers havent figure this out🤦♂️... you dont have to remove the head to remove the harness.. just raise the left arm straight up and just feed the harness down into position.. this technique works with most harness, belts or cloth pieces on action figures...
